Great base for umbrellas that do not have a center foot pedal.
This base is better than I expected for ease of filling and putting in place. The four molded rubber pieces each have a groove down the middle to sit directly on the umbrella stand base for great stability. You just put them in place and fill them with sand ( or rocks) . Note: we filled each square half way, then connected the velcro from one piece to another, then finished filling them. The nice part is that the cover attaches to the 4 pieces by heavy duty velcro, and is easy to remove, if you need to reposition the bottoms base parts. The 1 big negative, and why I gave it only 4 stars... The walls of the 4 pieces are taller than the height of the foot pedal on my cantilever umbrella, so once the pieces are in place, and the cover is on, you can't step on it, to turn the umbrella. We solved this problem by making sure that it is in the exact spot where we want, and won't need to move it each time. If we have to eventually, once the cover is taken off, the pieces are light enough to move to get to the pedal. For a regular, large umbrella, this base does a great job, and is very easy to fill and move.

Does it, really work?
Do any of these bases really work? We filled this with 200# of wet sand and a small gust of wind twisted the base and umbrella 90⁰ and slid it 2' off its target location. Now I'm afraid to use the umbrella even in a light breeze.

Really wonderful service
We used our Rhino base and cover all last year and it was great. Over the winter months, our dog that likes to find critters dug excessively at the cover, and damaged the cover completely. I reached out to the company to see if it was possible to buy just the cover. The person I worked with (Alex) requested some photos and proof of purchase. Can you believe that after I sent those along he sent me a base cover at no cost?! The damage had nothing to do with the quality of their product, yet they still provided us with a new cover. We did not expect that and to say that we are happy and satisfied is an understatement. Wonderful service!

Impeccable customer service.
I bought this base two years ago. Even got one for my mom. I had some fading, which wasn't issue for me, but I got a hole in mine. I reached out and they immediately sent me a new cover. My mom's cover seemed thicker and doesn't fade as much and that seems to be what they sent me for a replacement. Sturdy base. Get it and some sand and you are good to go. Can't say in words what it's like to have a company with such great customer service these days!

Excellent solution!
We have a large 11-foot cantilever umbrella and this system is the best I've found. Attractive and sturdy, and no water needed which always leaks out of other systems! We used four 50-lb bags of play sand. Note: you want to fill the quadrants full so the cover doesn't sag and collect water. I can also stand on them to reach up when adjusting the umbrella. It even works with the rotation foot pedal on ours which some reviewers have had trouble with. I left one quadrant unattached by velcro so I can slide it slightly when needed to access the pedal. The cover still fits on nicely as you can see in the photo for a neat clean look. (Note: I put a pad under the metal umbrella stand to keep it from scratching our new deck. :)

Umbrella weight holder
I like it holds the umbrella down I put four 40lb bags of pea gravel in it which was perfect. I’ll be moving this after the summer putting it up for the winter. If this was to get water in it and freeze it would cause damage to this item. I recommend this item give it a 9 out of 10!!

Not rip or fade proof
Base works, as in my umbrella doesn't blow over. However, 3 years later, the covers for the base are ripped and faded badly. Tried contacting company to get a replacement and received no response. They are an eyesore on my patio now.
