This is very sturdy. The magnets are strong and never fall off the door.

I have this on my front door, which is metal. I literally took it out of the box, put the curtain panel on, and stuck it to the door. Thwack. The curtain is lightweight and sheer to let light in, but it can't be seen through. I find the adhesion to be amazing with my lightweight curtain. I have to think that people who had problems with this either didn't have a metal door, had a door of metal material blend that was not great for a magnetic bond, or they hung something too heavy on the rod (it's not magical, it does have its weight limit). I am thrilled with this, it was on sale for a great price, and I wish I'd gotten it years ago because now I no longer live in a fishbowl. I was hesitant because of the bad reviews but they also seemed kind of pigeon-headed, so I took the plunge. The rod I bought and received performed 100% as advertised and looks fantastic to boot (I have the cocoa colored one). It doesn't look cheap and there's no weird plastic ends on it or whatever other reviewers were on about.

Bought these to hang sheer panels on the windows of our big, metal entrance doors. I had struggled to figure out how to do this until I discovered these magnetic rods and finials. They arrived today and within 5 minutes I had the sheers on the rods and attached them to the doors above the Windows. So easy! Very clean, simple design. My sheers are extremely lightweight, but the magnets seem very strong and I believe they would also hold up heavier fabrics. I could not be more pleased with the cost, the easy installation, and the polished look they have given our foyer.

I had no idea they made these things until I saw them on an episode of today’s homeowner and I immediately ordered one as it would be perfect for my back door. It doesn’t seem super sturdy to be honest butI have a sheer curtain hanging on it so the sturdiness won’t matter much in my instance and it’s probably sturdier than I feel like it is simply bc it’s magnetic and I’m hanging it on a steel door.

Our main entry door in the kitchen has a large window, looking in you can see all the way down the hallway through the house, and also everything I'm doing in the kitchen. It was kind of creepy and I was searching for a solution. I wanted something that looked nice but wouldn't hinder the functionality of the door. I also didn't want anything permanent or costly because I plan on changing the door at some point this year. I purchased two of these rods and a french door curtain (a curtain with rod pockets on the top and bottom). These rods have a really nice feel to them and also look nice on the door. I didn't think the magnets would be strong enough to hold a heavy blackout curtain. So far, so good. I've been using them for a couple weeks and the magnets have not budged. This door gets opened and slammed all day long and the rods are still in the exact same place. My only issue is that I'm a little bitter I didn't know these existed before! I had the same issue with doors in previous homes and this product would have made life much easier.

This item works perfectly for metal doors. It holds the curtain in place, they never slide. Magnets are very strong. One word of caution, don’t slide the magnets to move the curtain as it could scratch your door. Take it off and move it to another area if needed. I highly recommend this item.

This is the best invention since sliced bread!!! I never knew until recently that such a thing existed!!! I was a little apprehensive at first about how sturdy these would be, but these things are absolutely amazing!!! I had been wanting to hang a curtain on my front door for awhile, but was dreading trying to measure and put screws into my metal front door! When I finally decided the time had come, I was looking online and found these rods!!! They are so strong and sturdy I couldn't believe it!!! You can put them up and adjust them however you like!!! No mistakes!!! Different curtains may fit a little different from each other. No problem, just move them!!! And if you decide you want to take them down for any reason, no problem with that either, and no unsightly holes in your door!!! I Love These Magnetic Rods!!!
