I have seen excellent results with Carlyle Vitamin K. Pills are very small and easy to swallow. Recommended dosage on bottle is 1 tablet daily, preferably with food. Each pill contains 100 mcg of Vitamin K as Phytonadione. A great value, too.I highly recommend this product if you need a Vitamin K Supplement.

I'm not certain if these are working but the Doc says K2 assists in the proper absorption of calcium. Which is a good thing since so many foods are laced with extra calcium.They are bit fussy when swallowing since they are uncoated. But they are small so typically not an issue with lots of water.

Tried this brand because the price is much better than what we used to buy (Puritan's Pride), but despite the same amount of K (100mcg), the pills are not coated and are twice as thick as the PP brand. This makes them hard to swallow. Amazon asked about 3 attributes: Easy to Swallow, Value For Money, and, Absorbency. I rated ETS a 1, VFM a 5 and A with a 3 (only because I do not know how this compares with the PP brand). I suppose being a chemist might help. Absent that, maybe a Dr. could evaluate this measure.

I'd read an article recently that said, if you're taking vitamin D then, in order for your body to correctly metabolize it, you should also take vitamin k. To not do so means the vitamin D on it's own could produce plaque in your arteries which is a very bad thing. Taking both vitamins together allows both to benefit the body in a positive way. So, what's another pill if the above is true. I'll question my doctor the next time we meet.

This is vitamin K and what is found in most multivitamins is the other vitamin K so it's an supplement. This bottle is reasonably priced and is important for our health.
