Its great for gamers
This card performs well, reacts to overclocking well, and does it all with no noise. My case is set up really well in terms of airflow, so the card gets more than enough cooling. And it has a 0 rpm function thats almost always on for me. I got mine shipped to the door for about $700, which isnt bad considering how much they were going for. Cant find an rgb controller software that recognizes the cards rgb. Mine glows magneta, so i just set the case to match it for now. Im expecting a few years of performance out of this card. Maybe more since i dont often play the super ray traced AAA titles as much anymore. This card is perfect for gamers who want a little of everything. Make sure to re apply thermal paste every year or so. Dont want it going hard and ruining your gpu die when you try to clean it in a year or two.

Gigabyte software doesn't work.
I've owned a gigabyte gtx 970 g1 for some years and I've been very happy with it. So it was only natural when it came time to upgrade go again with the gigabyte gtx 1080 g1 gaming. I ordered the new card from Amazon at a cost of $629.00. The card arrives, I install it and load the software. At this point I'm pretty happy. Well then I click on the Auris graphics engine software to set it up and...nothing happens. Try again...still nothing. Uninstall then reinstall. Same, software won't load. Really? Went to the gig download page and downloaded latest version. And?? Same, won't load. Are you kidding me? The card seemed to work but I was not able to use the software. Turns out a lot of others are having issues with this software. Very disappointed. For that price everything should work. I will not pay for something that only half works. So I boxed it back up and started a return. This is a custom card, not a reference card. And as such was created to work with the manufacturers software. The software is supposed to unlock special features specific to its hardware. Without the software I don't believe the card can achieve the manufacturers intended potential. Maybe it will, I'm not an engineer. But if your paying for features on a product you should be able to use them. Not so in this case, gigabyte's software, at least for me, doesn't work. This is why I can't recommend this graphics card and returned it
