Q: How do you attach it to the car?

I just received my emblem and haven’t figured out how to attach it! I’m going to check with my son. I’ll post when we figure out what to use!

Q: Does this emblem fit the trunk of a 2011 Sonata?

I installed this emblem on a 2011 Sonata last Saturday to replace the original SONATA letters, most of which had come off. I put it in the same position as the original letters because not all of the glue from the original letters would come off without damaging the paint. All of the letters fit nicely except for the S - it was slightly raised (~1/16" at the leading edge) because of the curvature of the trunk. It still adhered to trunk. Since the letters are attached to each other, I am hopeful that they will remain in place. They look great and shouldn't drop any letters. If I could have removed the glue from the S, I would have been able to move the name 1/2" toward the middle of the trunk and they would have fit very nicely.
