Pushing to hard shows through to the white side but still not that noticeable and an esthetic improvement from regular thumb tacks

Haven't used them yet. Bought for an anniversary party coming up. I'm sure they'll be fine.

Good thumb tacks
Bought these to hang posters for the boys room. Work like a charm and if you push them straight in you’ll have no problems!

GREEN!!!! They just don't make them like they used to though.
Like: They are green! As you can see, they were perfect for hanging a couple green screens as seen in the photo.Dislike: Failure rate. I lost about 20% of these to bending, etc. It started to get annoying.Bottom Line: You get what you pay for. Overall, they are decent value. I am very grateful that none came through the backside to bite me. I was waiting for it to be honest. My poor thumb though after both cloths... LOL

good value
I ordered these thumb tacks because I wanted all black tacks for a project on my wall to use them on. The tacks worked for my purpose of tacking a large wallpaper mural however I found that many of the tacks I was using tended to bend and were hard to push them in. granted I was pushing them into drywall but I hadn't had issues with other tacks doing this. These tacks worked for what I needed and I still have a bunch left over so they are a good value for the price too.

Red topped cap, brass colored pin
Kind of wimpy push pin, easily bent when inserting into pine wood strips. Don't know if these rust yet, but assume it is not solid brass and rush is a matter of time. Used in beehive to mark frames that need special attention. Functional for this purpose, but pins easily bend and thus do not insert fully into the wood (makes a poor attachment to the wood) and I do not expect it to remain in place for very long. Red paint on caps also crape/flake off easily.

These are great!
These worked great to hold the edge of a car headliner up. No issues pressing them into the shell beneath the fabric. No heads pooped off and no pins bent. No idea what people might have been trying to push these into but I had no issues and they worked great, used about 80, looked great. Thanks!

Nice tacks but didn't really work well for my application
i bought these to use for halloween decorations. the problem is that they aren't really designed for "heavy duty" use. so for my application, they weren't really a good choice. if you have softer material (like cork board) it would be great.

Nice but weak
They are nice and lay flat, but are weaker and press too hard, may go through your finger. So be careful.

Decent
I’d say about 25-30% of the tacks break (post comes through the white cap). Not super good quality, but fair enough for what I needed

Flimsy and dangerous
Dangerously flimsy. I was pushing one into drywall and it went through the back of the tack and into my thumb. I yelled words my kids have never heard me say before

Let's get down to brass tacks
The tacks are decent quality. The plastic is a shell and not a dip as I expected, but there isn't anything wrong with them. I'm not bored enough to count them, but assume they are all there. I think they are a good buy.
