School Smart Magnetic Whiteboard Dry Eraser, 2 x 4 Inches - 084465

When the last academic year began, one of the teachers was kind enough to let me borrow one of her new erasers for whiteboards. It was fantastic - cleaned the boards very well. Even better, it didn't get lost, or dropped behind books, because it was magnetic. I just placed it anyplace on the board - and it stuck! This eraser also is the perfect size for my hands, as well as those of my 3rd-grade students. It is a wonderful product.At the end of the year, the teacher packed up her personal stuff and moved to another class. I began trying to find a vendor from whom to purchase more of these erasers. It's a fairly new product and not too many places carry it; however, Amazon carries it and at the lowest price, too. I only bought 2 of them, but I'm sure that, when the new principal discovers how great they are, she'll urge the District's Purchasing Department to add them to the approved products list.This is a truly wonderful product and even my 6-year-old grandson wants me to order 1 for his new teacher. Come to think of it, that would be a super 'welcome back to school' gift for every teacher. Well done, Amazon.

I love this eraser. I did not know I could be so excited about an eraser, but this really is an awesome eraser and was worth the priciness. I was hesitant knowing that I could get a much cheaper eraser (I coach volleyball and use the whiteboards to write down practice plans and keep scoring for drills), but love the fact that is magnetic and I can easily wash it if it gets too dirty and of course it does it's main purpose, erasing. I know that I won't have to buy more cheap erasers down the road because this one will last awhile and I am quite happy with it!

I received this yesterday, and it is terrific! We have a big mark and wipe board on our refrigerator, held firmly there by magnets that dear hubby attached to the back of the board. This is fantastic for keeping track of groceries and other things we need to remember to do. We have a magnetic container to hold markers. Our eraser was not much punkin'So when I saw this one and read what it said, I thought, "Hmmmmm." I thought about it for a few days and then ordered one. Wow!It sticks to the refrigerator just great! It erases great! And when it eventually needs to be cleaned, it is washable.I love this!

Magnet is great. Eraser, not so much. I tried washing it in soap & water, as suggested, and the felt (which is as someone else mentioned VERY thin) started to unglue - so that's not going to work. So, since the magnet works great, I end up spritzing some cleaner on the eraser to use it. That usually lasts for a few white board sessions, so it's not awful. I looked at some alternatives, which report either the same issue as this, or the opposite (eraser great, magnets not strong.) I find it easier to work around the eraser problem than the magnet problem.

This is great, love the magnetic aspect. It holds very well to the fridge. The only problem is that you have to put it on the fridge eraser side down which means that sometimes a little color gets on the fridge. Not sure it would be better the other way because then it would get on our clothes when we walk by or something. Overall it's a great product!

This is incredibly handy to have around. No more searching for the eraser or using paper towels to erase the board. I love that I can just stick this eraser right on the board--and, yes, it will stay there; the magnet is quite strong.The eraser is somewhat big, but not horribly so. And it works SO much better than paper towels.I am so glad I finally just spent the money and got this.

I bought this plus the Expo Dry Erase Makers (fat "original" kind) and the Sparco 8.5x11" white board for my grandson. My plan was for him to use it in the car. My DIL just wrote, "Best gift EVER." I thot a "real" eraser would be more fun than a rag, and it appears that it's true! He makes marks just so he can erase them. mb

This magnetic eraser attaches to my dry erase board, and the eraser part of it works just fine. Works as described/advertised.I don't know why people are claiming that it doesn't erase well. The material that it uses for its erasing material looks and feels exactly like any dry erase board eraser I have ever used before.I am satisfied enough with this product to buy it again for another magnetic dry erase board I am purchasing.
