Q: This jack will for sure work horizontally? Not many do as the pump doesnt get the oil. Are you absolutely sure it works correctly when horizontal?

If you install the unit with the jack handle on the bottom it will work. Unfortunately the fill port will then be on the bottom so you would need to remove the unit to add oil if needed.

Q: How much stroke do you get roughly per full crank of the handle?

aprox. 3/16 of an inch , with jack shaft out aprox. 2 inches I still have to stroke aprox. 190 strokes before it stops raising , hope this ans. your question

Q: Does the jack come filled with oil and ready to use?

yes it does but I changed the oil in the one I received just to be sure ad all went well but the jack did work well when received
