These are the Best Two Headed Coins I have ever seen!
I was shocked at the quality of these coins. They appear to be 1942 Washington Quarter Dollar coins , however I have not weighed them to see if they are close to weights listed for the year. I did a quick check with a magnet and had no magnetic reaction. These coins if they are made of original 1942 quarters are in a quality of coins of "Uncirculated" grade with a new like luster. I will eventually get around to weighing them to see if they are real silver or made in a way of casting ( I cannot find any evidence of casting ) using silver or another metal with silver plating. They do make a sound close to silver coins when shook in hand, with a slight dead sound. This slight dead sound would be most likely due to machining and assembling two coin halves. What ever the content or how these were made or constructed it is just unbelievable how nice these look and feel in hand.I have purchased two head coins in the past. Those were constructed using two modern clad Washington Quarters and those had a very evident ridge around the rim of the coin on one side. Those coins were constructed by using a metal lathe and hollowing out one coin face to the outer rim and then turning the other coin down to fit within that time and then pressed or soldered together. This method is fine as long as the rim is burnished to hide or remove the sharp edge at the rim this method will cause when pressing the to parts together. This sharp raised edge is a dead give away to anyone holding these types of coins. I personally have burnished those coins I have purchased in the past. These two coins go way beyond being perfect in my opinion. Using a 30X loupe I could not see any machine marks or anything that would be seen or felt by anyone holding or visually looking the coins over.I very rarely write reviews and do so only when a purchased product go far beyond my expectations. These two coins have done so and I highly recommend purchasing these to anyone who wants a quality set of two headed coins. In the past I have used two headed coins for playing with my grand kids and nieces and nephews. After tricking them and a little teasing I have given each their own. I always "Sternly explain to each that the two headed coin is a Trick Coin and not a legal coin to sell or spend" and they understand. I started very early with the kids pulling coins out of their ears and doing coin tricks, they love it and since I have collected coins since I was a child and received the same tricks and education in coin collecting I have always used collectable coins when doing coin tricks for them. Afterwards I would give them the coins to save. I have been doing this for more then 30 years now and each of my kids, grand kids, neices and nephews have every gift coin I have given them. The look on a 5 or 6 year old child's face when you pull a silver dollar out of their ear is priceless. However, I am so impressed with these two coins I will be keeping a set for myself and will have to order many more soon.Even if you don't collect coins or do coin tricks you cannot find a better two headed quarter in my honest opinion. I suggest just getting a set to put in your wallet to use as a conversation starter or even for a fun "Beer Bet". Anyone who sees or hold these coins will be unable to tell the difference from a real quarter. But I cannot express the fact that these are not "Legal Tender" and the US Mint has never created any accidental or true two head coins in it's history. ( I know I might get some challenges on that statement) However it is impossible to accidentally make such due to the fact that the coin dies are "Keyed" and are made this way so the obverse die and reverse die will only fit the presses in their proper mounts. There have been accidents, but I have never read or seen a two headed coin from the US Mint that has escaped into circulation or been recorded in any publication.Sorry for rambling, I'm just so impressed by these two coins I just had to share, so get yourself some you will not be disappointed. One last note, if you do get these be careful and not mix these with real coins. You might accidentally use it in change ( Yes these are that good, the bright silver readed edge being the only visual appearing as pre 1964 quarters ) when making a small purchase, losing them and or at the same time be actually breaking the law!I took these two and mixed them with 6 uncirculated 1964 quarters and found it in possible to separate them from the real thing. Like I had mentioned above, jingling them was the truly way to separate them from the real thing due to the slight dull sound, but even then I found it difficult.Just a personal note, I have always put mine in my wallet and got them out when I wanted to use them.

Not what I needed.
The coin is unusable. It looks like a fake quarter. In magic that is unacceptable. It looks as if it is either made of aluminum or has been polished with a wire brush. A terrible product. One photo shows it next to a regular quarter. The difference is obvious.
