Q: Which way does the packing ring ("gasket" in parts list) go into the gun behind the packing nut - flat-end into gun or curved end into gun?

I have the curved part inside and the flat part toward the nut/trigger. The nut was more flat on the end is why I installed it this way. I had already uninstalled the old one so I don't really know for SURE. Nonetheless, it stopped the leaking from the packing nut I experienced before replacing it.

Q: Does this kit work for the DeVILBISS JGA 520 Spray Gun? The air valve is bent and needs replaced.

The first thing we would need to know is what size needle you have. Example 1.4mm - 1.3mm etc.

Correct repair kit

I have ordered this repair kit for Devilbiss spray gun 802405. . Unfortunately ; this repair kit 802425 isn't the proper repair kit for this gun . Please check with Devilbiss and advise the proper kit I should order, Thank You for your help. Albert Bluemle
