This is my first time using a foam roller, and I like having the ability to help myself whenever I feel I need it. I guess this is a sign of getting older. You need to have a surface to use this on. I utilize a yoga mat to keep it from slipping/sliding as I roll on it.

The product is amazing. I noticed some differences after my first try. Definitely great as a gift.

This roller is a little to stiff and uncomfortable to use even for short periods for it’s intended purpose. On the other hand, my 5 and 6 year-old grandsons have a great time building structures with it and assorted yoga blocks and bolsters.

This is a very good product and will do the job as a foam roller. My only disappointment is that in the picture of the item on Amazon, it appears that the nubs/raised areas are much more pronounced than they actually are on the delivered item. There is a pattern of nubs to assist in the roller's effectiveness, but they are very low profile. You can see them better than you can feel them (see the picture...mine is on the right). If you're looking for a roller with higher profile nubs for deeper tissue massage, you might want to look elsewhere.
