I can highly recommend this product, I use it in my LG smart tv with Arc hdmi input and spdif, output I can use both, spdif connect to my denon amplifier home theaters and the rca connect to my mixer for karaoke , the sound is 4d amazing compare to blutooth converter.

I bought this device to enable the volume control from my Samsung 50inch tizen tv from hdmi (arc port) to analog. I have put 4 stars because this device has a normal dac (digital to analog converter), it does the job and it’s good, but I own a better dac the Schiit Modi that I now use on a separate channel on my amplifier only for music through optical out (spif) which has no volume control from the tv, only from the amp, I can’t double the dac or have volume control from tv for my better dac.

Got this for my neighbor who hastvin his garage. Works really well with optical cable to TV and RCA cable to amplifier. No sound loss or distortion.

Needed to replace my audio out from my OLED TV to my Sonos Amp (gen2). As the Sonos Amp only supports analogue audio I have been using the headphone out from the TV, and that have been a hazle as the volume control on remote did not adjust the volume.Considered the upgraded Sonos Amp (gen 3) for $750 but bought this instead.Got USB power from my routers usb-port (could have used the TVs), connected the analogue L/R audio cables and then the HDMI cable to the TV ARC enabled hdmi-port. Set the switch to ARC on the SOUTHSKY and in the TV menu "audio" I picked "HDMI Soundsystem" - and everything worked as expected with great sound!Recommend this product!
