House, Home and More Indoor Outdoor Carpet with Rubber Marine Backing - Brown - 6 Feet x 10 Feet

Previously wrote a review warning people that once this "Marine Carpet" gets wet, it will become incredibly slippery and begin to produce a soapy type of foam. Very dangerous for passengers on my boat who traverse the carpet with wet feet. I'll also join in on the other negative reviews and add that after only 2 weeks on my boat deck, the backing has also melted to my boat decking making it a very challenging process to remove the black residue that it left behind. This product may be good for a screened in porch, but it's a terrible choice and should not be marketed as good for a marine application. Oh, and yes....it is paper thin. Very disappointed.

Reserving judgment as we purchased this indoor-outdoor carpet for our newly-resealed condo balcony, which is now very rough and prickly. Currently in discussion with contractor to make sure covering the surface with a carpet won't somehow rot the surface. The problem came when, about 3 days after we put down the rug and immediately loved its soft and comfortable surface, we had heavy rain. Days after that, the carpet was still soaking wet. The rubberized backing seemed to keep the carpet holding the water and I had to buy a wet vac to get it up. More work wasn't what I was looking for. Waiting to hear back from the manufacturer of the surface material. Wondering whether it would be possible to somehow remove or stop the rubber backing from holding on to the moisture.

My husband and I moved in with his parents and this home needs major renovations.Unfortunately, due to Covid we’re not financially able to make these types of changes at this time. I couldn’t stand looking at this bathroom floor a minute longer! We had cardboard down to step on for months now it really took ME and a pair of scissors less than an hour to place this carpet down it was totally worth it!!! I would recommend to anyone it was so easy to install.

I needed a rug and this one was on sale. I thought, great! It'll work until I can find a pretty one. Well...it's pretty! It's an indoor/outdoor carpet, but it's on my living room floor, now and it's staying there! It's so easy to keep clean. I have two cats and a dog, all with long hair. I can vacuum it very easily and it looks amazing! I don't think I'll be replacing it any time soon! I love it!

I needed to replace the old carpet in the cabin of a 1986 cruiser this carpet matched the color and texture perfectly. I cut it to an exact size and was able to lay it on top of the old carpet and it matched the sides which I did not need to remove or replace. It was extremely easy to cut accurately to fit the odd deck pattern that you find inside cabins. Under normal conditions it will not get wet so I am not concerned about the other reviews indicating that it could be slippery. I'm extremely happy with this purchase
