These are the best guide books for my son. My autistic son started collecting the whole world:)

This was the first LP book I'd bought for many years. There was a time when loads of people were carrying them around. I can see why I was the only person I saw this last holiday with one!The book is fine for a general browse, to get ideas etc. It is absolutely hopeless at the practical details for travel. They constantly say things like 3 or 4 busses a day, which turn out to not be the case. They constantly give confusing or out of date or buried information about getting up-to-date transport times. Details about where bus stops are, where stations you need are, how to use the transport system, where to rent scooters etc etc - where is it? Greece is pretty poor for public transport, but this book is just off the scale for helping you get from A to B or around. So out of date. Avoid.Lonely planet have lost their way.
