Split them
The pills are white, uncoated, packed powder, round 7/16" diameter, 3/16" thick, loose and unbroken in a brown tint polycarbonate bottle with an easy screw top. I'm satisfied.My research says 1 pill per day (50 mg zinc) is too much. The maximum recommended daily dose is 40 mg. I get 11 mg from a multivitamin, probably 8 mg from food, and I add 1/4 pill for 12.5 mg more = 31.5 mg.They are easy to split with a sharp kitchen knife, and split again into four parts. Great precision isn't needed, because the dose evens out over a few days.

I ordered these as they are supposed to be "coated." They are....more than the other one's I've taken. I guess I feel if other supplements that are a "dry powder" like Zinc can be coated, why can't these? They are easier to swallow and I'll probably stay with them, unless another one shaped like a capsule and coated comes on the market.

Keeps Tigers away.
At 85 got scared of catching C/19. A doc on YouTube (MEDCRAM) touted sleep, Vitamin D and Zinc.So far so good. Of course I'm in a bullet proof glass fishbowl so I can't endorse Zinc, Vitamin D or sleep for that matter, my back is killing me. I must say thank you for well wishes, live worms, and weekly water changes.Oh yes ,I have no idea WHY tigers hate zinc tablets.

Zinc is well known to boost the immune system. Many people took it for a while during the worst of Covid, but our bodies need zinc every day. These pills are easy to swallow and tasteless and a great way to stay healthy.
