Been installing mini’s for 8 years now and a change in wiring had me confused but a quick call had me back on track in no time!Found my new source. They under cut mini split warehouse by over $200.00 and I’m getting contractor prices supposedly.Ducted is my go too for conventional attic HVAC replacementRules with mini’sDon’t solder. Buy more line then you need, cut & flareVacuum pump a must!Weigh in additional refrigerant don’t guess!

Great unit but not a diy install unless you are a contractor already.
So far so good. Just know I would not call this a diy level install. The unit works great so far though. I did install this myself and have a licensed HVAC person charge it. You need a supply and return plenum built as well as a ducting system. We spent about $1800 extra on duct work and charging for a 2 bed 2 bath 865 sqft home. This unit runs silently though. You actually can't tell it's running. Overall a good buy but it was a huge learning curve doing duct work andnd designing a system.

Quality control?
Still in the process of installing: but the installation manual is poorly printed, and contains this order of pages: 21,22,23,23, 23,26The information missing in pages 24-25 would be quite helpful.

Do not buy
This unit has no blower power. I have it installed in a 8’ x 30’ office with 3 rooms. 6” ducts 3 of them and you can’t even feel the air coming out of the vents. The ac will not let you adjust the blower speed and it stays running even when set on auto. So the blower never turns off. I don’t know how that energy efficient if the blower never turns off. I’ve contacted Cooper hunter for a resolve to no avail. At the time I was dealing with Cooper hunter my return time expired so now I’m stuck with a unit that won’t even cool a 240 square foot room. They say it should cool up to a 1200 square foot home and that’s not true.Don’t waste your money.Customer service an FProduct an F

Engineering is key, this for DIY’ers
Be aware that these are low static pressure systems and are not designed for multiple bends in the supply and return.Make sure your install can do the math understanding they’re usually 600-700cfm under a .15” IWCIf you or your “AC GUY” can not perform manual J and D calculations, this unit will “disappoint you”.If you want a DIY option, look to Mr Cool DIY Ductless mini splits. No, I don’t work for this company, I just read one of the reviews and wanted other possible buyers to understand it isn’t a quality issue.I’m about to purchase this unit myself and I’m a well informed engineer with heavily mechanical background.

Horrible instructions
For now, until I can figure out how to install this thing, I'm leaving a bad review. I thought the last one I purchased had bad instructions, but this one is a complete joke! The power supply has weird colors and no labels, the drain has an adapter that is completely the wrong size on one end, the control wires have adapters that don't connect to each other, and there absolutely no clues in any of the literature provided.
