Q: What justifies the $80 price tag?

If you compare the “packit” design with the yeti this one is superior. Packit has Velcro and the flap won’t stay shut when using the strap whereas the yeti one has a little buckle of sorts which will then stay closed. It’s a steep price to pay however it’s functionality and design is well thought through. I wish it only cost $30 at max though but that’s they yeti clout.

Q: What size of yeti ice pack fits?

Although the 2 will fit the 1 is more than enough to keep a standard meal cool until lunchtime. Unless you’re in a high heat area I’d say the 1 is fine.

Q: Could this hold a 32oz Rambler Cup inside of it, or would I need one of the bigger bags?

Bigger bag! It is robust but not tall

Yes, I bought this for my grandfather and he uses this to store his insulin with two ice packs while traveling!
