I originally got this for my coffee hoping for a low glycemic, non artificial substitute as none of the other natural options were right for me. This was excellent and added a little bit of a caramel-type flavor for me so when mixed with milk, tasted like a cafe drink. I am now using this to make my own healthy almond milk ice cream and couldn't be happier. This product maintains the sugar type palet thats missing from stevia, monk fruit, etc. while still being lower glycemic. I like coconut sugar too but date syrup still wins over that in the nutritional and glycemic aspects.

Date Syrup is a staple product for me. Having one ingredient, dates. I use date syrup in cornbread patties, instead of white cane sugar. a little goes a long ways. I also use a little date syrup in oatmeal, and smoothies. I like the fact that it is a natural sugar. It saves time in preparation. It has a good taste. The container is convenient to use and the large size gives it value for money. It last me longer than the whole dates in freshness.

I bought this date syrup to use in a chicken recipe. It was great and I don’t know why this was not a fixture in my kitchen. Love it and recommend it.

At first it was hard to get used to the flavor, but now I really enjoy it. I use it in my coffee and it adds a touch of flavor but not overwhelming.

Update: customer service reached out and helped me with my issue. I was able to get the bottle that I know and love. This is my favorite syrup. The taste is so good. My kids also use this instead of traditional syrup. I've tried multiple and this is my favorite brand.Something isn't right with this bottle. I have used this date syrup for a long time and this bottle came and it has a different color and a grittyness to the taste. It says I can't return or get a replacement so I'm just out the money.
