Baby is 7 months (but wears 12 month clothes) and the toque fits him perfectly. Snug and warm!

My son is 3.5 years old and I got him the little boys hat instead of the toddler one because so many of the reviews for the toddler hat say they run very small. This boys size fits him perfectly and will hopefully fit for the next year. It’s keeping his head warm and dry in the beginnings of our Canadian winter. Would definitely buy again.

I bought all 3 sizes to see which would fit, I'm 6' tall 180lbs and the TODDLERS size fit just right, the youth and adult are made for a different species... UPDATE 3hrs later I pulled the tag off the inside ( just like everyone does) and a large hole opened up...I had no intent of returning these, I was going to save them for gifts, but I think I need too now. I'm not sure these are "real" Carhartt with such bad sizing and poor quality, it's not the Carhartt I remember. DO NOT RECOMMEND

I bought two of these toques for my 3- and 5-year olds and they fit great. There’s definitely room to grow, but they aren’t baggy and protect their ears well. The quality is exactly what you’d expect of a Carhartt product. Very happy!
