I read ALL the reviews before I purchased these pens. They are awesome, the best gel pens I've bought. They glide when you write or color with them. Believe me when I tell you I own many, many gel pens. Every brand you can think of, however these are the cream of the crop!I waited patiently for the Amazon box to be delivered, yeah right I was like a kid waiting to open Christmas presents! When the box did get here I tore it open, expecting to be so so about these pens. Boy was I wrong. The are wrapped in plastic and are in a great box. I admired that box checking it for defects... nope not a one. So I slowly opened that box and there they were this awesome set of pens in their very own black case. I lifted it out and inspected the black case. Very study and professional looking. A case I will be proud to carry when I go to appointments and have to wait for hours. The case will make it so easy to keep my pens organized and safe. Then I unzipped the case several times waiting to see if the zipper sticks. Nope. Great box, great case, great zipper. Hmmm so far so good! Now for the long anticipated gel pen. I picked the first color and tried it. It does glide like butter. So of course I had to try all the pens. To my amazement they all glide like butter! I was so excited I had finally found the BEST GEL PEN! Excitement over took me I had to start coloring because I couldn't believe I had finally found the best gel pen, and it comes with refills. That makes it all the better. They are marked so you know which color you are using and they fit into the case perfectly. Believe me I zipped and unzipped the case and put the pens in and out of their own slot in the case waiting to be disappointed. Nope didn't happen!I was smiling from ear to ear I had finally found the BEST.I would be so proud to give this as a gift,it has the box to store your case in. A case that looks and works great. But the gel pens are #1. My only regret is that they don't come in over a 100 different colors. I'd be in coloring heaven for sure. I will order these again and again.I stock up on an item when I find a great one, so yes I will stock up on these pens.

Update...I've been using my Color It gel pens on a regular basis and I am even more impressed than ever! I have yet had to use a single refill. I've been using the "stippling" technique with the pens a lot &I noticed that the stippling uses a lot of ink...how do I know? I needed an extra brown &had the shade I wanted in a different set. After using that pen,I will be silent on the other company's name, I noticed how low the ink had fallen...same size tip, same size ink shaft, but way too much ink being used! I was doing equal sides so I know unequivocally that the Color It gel pens are truly out lasting other gel pens.Something to note..I live in the Northeast, when the temperature & humidity is high, the ink in all my gel pens is running faster! Work with that in mind. Color It gel pens are the best!Perfection is a gel pen! Color It gel pens are the absolute best gel pens I've ever used. Smooth flow, even color AND refills! This set is exactly what I have been wanting in my gel pens since I purchased my first ones.48 pens with numbers and color names written on the barrel.48 refills with the same written on each shaft! (Better for the planet and pocketbook! A win-win)Even color and flow...I suggest making a color chart when you first receive your set.A very well made case that holds all 48 pens. Zipper works very well and zips quickly.HINTS:I wipe my Color It gel pens before & after use just to be sure any residue on the stylus is removed.Scratching sound? First, be sure to tighten the shaft onto the barrel. Second, clean tip with a soft clean rag or try using an alcohol pad being sure to remove excess residues from tip before resuming your coloring. When using the with color pencils, wax can /will build up on tips.Close pen caps tightly!Spot clean case if necessary.I find the only pen that has not worked as the rest is white. For me that is not a problem, but it should be mentioned. I was not going to take away a star for 1 pen out of 48 not working as well as the rest.I recommend Color It gel pens with case for anyone who appreciates a great working gel pen. If you journal, scrapbook, or color...these are the best! Unleash the creative animal within and buy Color It gel pens with case AND 48 refills! Definitely worth it and you will not use another gel pen.

I am over the moon in love with these gel pens! I bought the double pack that has a case of mixed gel pens and another with the glitter gel pens. They come in 2 zip up cases and the gel case has a glitter finish. They also come with refills. The ink flows smoothly and the colors are beautiful!
