Well worth closer look found to be a great piece of kit and addition to tool shed

Works well but slight wobble on the guide even when tightly screwed but gets the job done.

Solid tool , works well, powerfull

GOOD SIZE AND EASY TO USE PRODUCT.

Tried routing a 1cm deep slot in a price of Douglas Fir. Stopped working after about 10 cm. No odd sound or smell. Just went dead.Contacted seller, who demanded a picture of the “issue”.I responded asking them to be more specific, as externally it looked normal.No response.Sent pictures of the outside, though it doesn’t show anything.Still no response.Refund request ignored and no longer in automatic refund period, so looks like the picture request was just to stall for time.Avoid this seller like the plague!Update- they have now offered me just a 20% refund!

So for £20 expectations need to be low.Main unit is solid & well made, some attachments included.Biggest disappointment, which affects performance is the collet which fails to secure the router bit correctly (unless you bend the provided spanners trying to get it tighter than humanly possible!)Result is spoiling of your job by change of position during cutting. Only way to avoid is very careful cutting and constant checks of accuracy and security of the cutting bit!!

Paired with a router plate to give me a small router table.The chuck only accepts small shaft bits and they didn't seem to go right in.The cable coming out the top makes changing the bits a little cumbersome, you can't turn it upside down and stand on the end to change the bits.Very adequate for the price.
