I was looking for a shelf for my desk to place my monitors on and to provide more desk space. This was one of only a few options I could find. It took me a while to talk myself into spending the money on a piece of wood and some clamps.When it arrived, I realized why it was $90. They used high quality materials and the clamps are very thick and sturdy. You don't notice it as much in the pictures, but the triangle piece of metal attached to the underside of the shelf provides a great deal stability and support for your monitors. There is absolutely no sag and I can see this shelf lasting for years.The only negative I had was the super tiny hex they give you to adjust the thickness of the clamps. There is no way I would be able to use it to undue the screws. I did give it a try but it didn't even pretend to budge. Not a big deal as it works fine as is but if it's something you want to adjust, it will take some effort.

I can't believe there aren't more like this. I've got a laptop with an external keyboard and monitor and there was no room on my desk. All the other shelves available do nothing for adding space to you desk (they just hang over existing space, this extended the depth of the desk).The inbound / outbound bits in the pictures are true and work.It's solid. I've got a sit/stand desk and it doesnt even jiggle when I change settings.It was easy to install. I just moved everything forward on the desk and set it up.

You get what you pay for here folks. This shelf/monitor stand is ideal for a number of reasons. 1) The space underneath the shelf is incredibly large and accommodates a plethora of uses. 2) The design and materials make the shelf sturdy that can hold a useful amount of weight, including dual monitors and extra stuff. 3) This shelf gives you a lot of options. Once installed, you realize you could situate and rearrange the materials and items around/on top of the desk in many different ways where other products are limited.I think the only way you could improve this stand is to make it vertically adjustable. Otherwise, top-notch product and very pleased!

Bought the 55" wide shelf for my desk because this was the deepest shelf I could find (this one is 12" while the 48" wide shelf is only 10"). I have a large work laptop and knew it wouldn't fit on anything else since I'd be positioning it at an angle.Very sturdy and easy to put together and install. I mounted this to the back of a 5.5' wide espresso colored desk and it blends right in.Only minor flaw: there were two small chips on the edge of one side but they were easily touched up with a pen and now are hardly noticeable. Oh SUPER fast shipping; the expected delivery time was Sept 22nd but it arrived 2 weeks early.Highly recommend, esp for work-from-home warriors.

One day as I looked at my desk, I felt that the computer monitor was too close to me. I wish I could move it back a few inches and raise it a few inches higher. My desk being a height adjustable desk, I needed something that would be attached to my desk. I looked for desk extenders and found this. The desk shelf came well packed with good padding, sturdy looking and easy to install. I think it took me 20 minutes or so to unpack, admire the product, read the instructions and clamp this thing to the desk. Another 5 minutes to keep the computer monitor on top of this and all small items in the lower space under the desk shelf. My desk looks neat and I feel comfortable with the distance and height of the computer monitor. Very happy with the product. Impressed that they thought of the two options - to use this as a 'desk shelf' or a desk shelf + extender if you are like me and want to add a few inches more to your desk in addition to the shelf.

Very sturdy design. Only a few minutes to install (not including taking down and restoring my desk, of course). Nice that are two options for mounting. I kind of wish there was a bit more room underneath. There are stiffening bars underneath, which is a good thing, but they take up some of the under-shelf room. An adjustable height design (or at least spacers) would increase utility, IMO. All that said, it has definitely given me some options on how I set up my studio desk, and I already have more on it with less apparent clutter (for the moment anyway!).

This stand is very good quality, and durable. We fit 2 monitors and our wireless router on it. It also looks very sharp when all setup.The only issue we had which turned out fine was that the allan wrench included did not fit the clamp you use to clamp to the back of our desk. We had to improvise, but even with the clamp not being able to fit completely the back of our desk - it still held on even with half the clamp secured. So overall i'm very happy with this purchase and would recommend.One thing to note - i got a handwritten note from the seller, thanking us for buying their product. I thought that was a very nice touch. Thank you!

The shelf is sturdy and simple in design. I like that it can be mounted either over the desk or hanging out from the desk. It is not quite as high as I had thought, but I should be able to add two lift blocks under the clamps to get some extra height. Check for shipping damage. There was a gouge in the shipping box resulting in a small ding in the side of the shelf. I didn't want to bother sending it back, so I used a black permanent marker to mask the damage.
