Perfect
Absolutely love this access panel. Was able to tile around the perimeter of the panel. Super easy to open and gives me great access to turn off my shower water valves. Absolutely recommended!

Love the concept & this access door
This is the best way to cover a plumber's hole. Gives future access but you can match your paint if an access door had to be made in a bedroom or living room.Bought a home that needed bathroom pipes fixed before I settled on the house. Former owners' hired a plumber that sawed a 16 x16" hole in the adjoining bedroom. They glued it closed with a cheap white plastic door. After searching the net I found FFS company on the internet. Even my contractor who installed this did not know about these access doors. It's great. Waiting for sparkle to dry around frame so The wall can be repainted. Tips for how to access door after painting are included in instruction.

Useful and Attractive, but Pricey.
We built this into a new wall for a remodel as a means to access a drain that has a tendency to clog (sewer line is old galvanized with a few 90s that needs snaking every other year). We put a cleanout in the line and then set this access panel in the wall before finishing it in. Needed the large size so to allow plenty of access for a powered snake. This is an "inlay" style, so you need to have either a new build or at least new drywall going in for it to be proper. We thought about using one of the less expensive plastic access panels, but this space is finished and needs to basically look the part. When closed and painted, this panel blends in nicely and flush. There is about a 1/16" to 1/8" gap around the opening, but since we painted the whole interior of the frame, it is not very noticeable. Looks relatively professional. Better than the plastic access panels that sit slightly proud and definitely draws less attention than a framed panel. For what it is worth, this thing is quality, but it is no bargain. The hinge and opening mechanism is flawless. Hence, 4 stars. Cheers.

Four Stars
Very nice, well built, all aluminum frame with regular sheetrock, so will not rust. As described except for the cable and clip. The photo shows the panel has 2 safety cables and 2 clips, the one I received has one safety cable and one clip located at the middle of the opening side of the frame. I'm assuming the reason for the single cable and clip is due to the panel size I ordered. The photo shown in the items description is probably of a larger size panel that has the 2 cables and 2 clips. The single clip was sufficient.I used this panel to create a flush access panel in the ceiling of the bathroom. I had tiled the ceiling with mosaic tiles and matched the access panel with the same tiles. Before tiling on the sheetrock panel, I did prep the panel surface with 'Red Guard'. The panel worked well for my purpose. Overall the panel is good quality and easy to install, but it is a bit expensive at $110 at the time I purchased it in September 2016.
