Good quality at a great price
A family friend's 6 year old son is interested in arithmetic, so I bought a couple of these soroban to teach him how to do addition and understand how numbers progress from 1/10/100/1,000. He seemed to understand a lot in the time we worked together on it. I'd always been interested in learning more about calculating on the soroban, so it was a great opportunity for me to learn more, too.

Beaucoup trop petit
Pas très pratique car trop petit et trop léger.Au moindre faux mouvement, tout bouge et donc tout s'efface.C'est quasiment inutilisable pour des opérations complexes.Je ne conseille pas du tout

Fun, cheap toy/gadget for your beloved math nerd.
A fun gadget to spend 8 dollars on. I definitely think you get what you pay for with this product. Feels plastic-like but is still quite sturdy. However, the small size is something to take into account when considering this product. A good gift idea for someone who likes math, and a great tinker toy for someone's desk.

Good soroban for the price
Overall, this is a good soroban for the price. Since it's made of light plastic, you must be gentle when moving the beads; if you don't, you might accidently shift the adjacent beads when using it. For people accustomed to using the expensive sorobans (wooden frames with beads made out of heavy gem material), they might not like it, because those expensive soroban's beads won't move by aggressive handling. As long as you move the beads up and down gently, you should have no problems.

Not the best
I expected to be a better quality. My son sometimes had issues to count
