I had this idea to turn heavy furniture blankets into curtains in my back room, which is freezing in winter and hot in summer. None of the locally available grommets would work as most were plastic. First I measured out where the grommets would be evenly spaced, then used the larger inside circle to draw and cut our my circles. Since the quilted fabric was thick I carefully removed some of the batting to thin the area where the grommet would sit. I am 70 years old and don't have strong hands anymore so I used a rubber mallet. Out of the 48 grommets I tried to set I had problems with only 2, and when I contacted the seller their immediate response was to send me replacements. So gracious! It took 10 days but I was happy to wait because these look so nice. My curtains are finished and hung, and I am very pleased with the finished appearance. The shiny stainless really makes the curtains stand out.I just had another order of these fantastic grommets. The new idea was for bedroom drapes, again using heavy fabric for blackout benefits and economy. I bought twin sized matelasse' bed covers to use as my panels and these grommets worked like a dream. I made window coverings for two bedrooms in about 1-1/2 hours.

Was hoping to find an exact match for my curtains but this was as close as I could find. Only wish they came in smaller packs but now we have lots of extra for future replacements.

How can something this cheap be so sharp but such a pain to put together?! You almost need to cut too big of a hole for the halves to barely click together, and you might cut yourself doing it. I regret buying these rings.

Very easy to install, I just would like it to be thinner around the ring, or have more sizes to choose
