Worth the Price
Judging by the most common complaint in the reviews, cheaper options for thick, reinforced filler paper are out there, but I haven't found one here on Amazon, I don't have a car, and there's no kind of store nearby that would even have reinforced paper. So...I'm stuck with this, but I'm perfectly happy with that. Three bucks isn't much money at all for 100 pages in the grand scheme of things, especially if you take this stuff seriously like I do.I don't write on the back side of the page and yet I'd still only buy maybe five of these a year at most. I can't imagine anyone needing much more than that. 15 bucks a year. Chump change. If you're like me you've definitely spent that much on a nice notebook before that you hardly ever wrote in because it was "too nice." If so, do what I did--buy a nice zippered padfolio with a 3-ring in it and keep refilling it with nice paper. And boy, this paper is nice. The reinforced tape along the edge says Five Star on it, which may bug some people. I don't mind it, but it is the only criticism I have against this if I HAD to criticize something. The paper is thick, sturdy, takes ink well. The holes are indeed reinforced. Don't worry about them coming out. You can literally lift up and carry around your binder by one of these pages and it won't rip. That's how reinforced they are.The best thing about this setup I have going is I can remove pages as I fill them and run them through the automatic document feeder on my printer and scan them in bulk. I'd be really worried doing that with more flimsy pages, but it works perfectly with these. All told, I'm a happy customer and I'll probably just keep buying these as long as they don't get more expensive or get removed from Amazon. I might even stock up, just in case. Again, I have no idea why people are complaining about the price, as they seem totally worth 3 bucks to me. I'd say these people know something I don't, but if they know where to get paper of this quality for less money, why wouldn't they just keep buying that?

Back for my 7th package and have my roommate hooked too
I am back purchasing my 7th package of this paper. I been using it since April when another class mate of mine had it and I fell in love. I was for never ending putting those white circle stickers on my papers when they ripped. Yes this is a bit more expensive but once I was buying the reinforces and the time it too to put them all on, this paper was very appealing and in the long run about the same price. I no longer have any issues with torn 3 hole punched paper in my binder. If I didn't like it, I would not be back ordering my 7th package. And the greatest perk is it's a prime item. So I get free 2 day shipping. Depending on the price sometimes I need to order $25 and pay less or pay more and get the free prime shipping. This time I put in a combined order for me and my roommate as she is now too hooked on this paper. Other class mates are switching to this. It is even cheaper here on amazon than many office supply store's own brand. I have always found the lines to be visible and bright and the paper a decent weight (not cheap and thin but not thick like card stock). When I start to run low on this order I can promise I will be back for more.To clear up previous reviews this paper is 8" x 10 1/2" and bad remarks were left that it was not 8 1/2 x 11 paper. I don't know of one note book paper brand that is that size...its all a hair smaller. Its the same size of regular notebook paper you can get for like a dollar, i held it up to a regular piece. If you are in need of 8 1/2 x 11 paper I suggest looking elsewhere.

Sturdy paper with a good weight and smooth texture
Substantial improvement over standard filler paper. I first purchased this paper at an office supply store during the fall supply round up a few years ago and grabbed it because of the reinforced edge and 20# paper. My son's school requires that they carry a 3-ring binder and the holes were always getting ripped out on the filler paper I'd used the year before. This paper proved to be much better than I'd expected. No more pages ripping out of the binder. The paper is a good sturdy weight which is has a good smooth writing surface. The lines are lighter than most notebooks but easy to see and are light enough to not copy on a photocopy machine (but do copy on my HP printer scanner). The reinforced edge does have writing on it that says "Five Star" but I do not understand why this has bothered some of the reviewers, it is not invasive or bothersome. We've also never had an issue with the paper not laying flat unless it got damp. We've had no issue with ink bleed through with standard pen - ball point or roller ball. A gel pen that my son likes you can see there is writing on the other side but it does not bleed through and he can writer on both sides and read both sides clearly. My fountain pen with a medium point is visible on the other side but does not bleed through unless I pause too long in one spot.

Deceptive 1-star reviews
"Kids love the reinforced paper but every time I have tried this brand, at least a quarter or more of the sheets have the bottom hole un-punched."My rebut: I ordered ten packs. Out of the one thousand pieces of paper that I received, none of them had a missing hole punch."I bought four realms of paper. Two realms had no visible lines on the front side only the backside."My rebut: Again, I ordered ten packs. None of them are missing lines, reinforced plastic, or any hole punches."The reinforce plastic is very weak. Very disappointed."My rebut: The video is clear evidence that these papers aren't "very weak." On top of the reinforcement, the papers themselves are fairly thick and durable. They aren't low-quality."Don't buy this paper. It is NOT standard 8 1/2 x 11, as they claim. It is 8 x 10 1/2. What a waste of money."My rebut: That's completely false. This is the only review that made me skeptical as to whether or not I should buy this item. As shown in the video and the product description, the paper is clearly 8 1/2 in x 11 in.

Nice Reinforced Edges and Holes
We have been using this product for a few years. It is nice paper and the most important part is the reinforced edge with the holes. This is really helpful with school papers when the teacher requires the use of the three ring binder and grades it and it gets used for a full semester. I rate this 4 stars not 5 because I feel the writing going down the reinforced edge to market the brand is visually distracting and students need to pay attention in class and focus on note taking without their eyes being diverted. I keep rebuying it as I don't see a decent alternative.
