Laser cane works well
The cane with a laser allows you to start walking again when you have freezing of gait or festinating gait. When switched on the switch lights up when you push down on cane which is ideal. Unfortunately, my cane after it fell a couple of times the switch works opposite what it is supposed to do. In that, when switched on it is always on until you push it down. It is still helpful working like this as long as you remember to shut it off. I haven’t contacted seller yet to see what he can do about this. I have PSP , a form of Parkinson’s, and this cane is helpful although a bit pricy..

It helps me
Parkinson's disease is weird. There is no logical reason this should work, but it does, at least for me. It might not work for somebody else.My neurologist gave me one of these to try. If you can arrange to try one before shelling out $238, it would probably be a good idea, although I suppose insurance may pay for it if your doctor "prescribes" it.If you're handy, you can make one.
