This was a gift during Christmas. The receiver really liked it since she is a writer. She stated that she is nearly done with the pages in the book and she likes the fact that you can add more if needed.

Love. Love. I am particular on journals I buy myself. I prefer a specific soft “leather” like texture & when I ordered the item, I was unsure how the journal would feel by looking at the product on a screen. When the journal arrived, I was relieved that it matched my preference. I also prefer to purchase a journal with refillable pages as I have a hard time imaging using a beautiful journal as 1 & done. So this journal met the parameters of not being 1 & done. Lastly, it is a beautiful journal that I enjoy writing in.

This journal exceeded our expectations! My yellow loving daughter has wanted this for well over a year. The leather folio is beautifully made. The back cover even has a Velcro closure for a hidden pocket. There is a pen loop on the inside. And the best part is once the journal is used up, it can be taken out and another put in its place. The sunflower images are beautifully crafted. Completely worth the money!

I am very impressed with this book. Based on the price I was concerned. But the cover is thick and looks durable. The book inside has a thick cover so it helps keep the shape and form of the cover. The pages are good quality too. I thought I was getting the dot book insert and got lined instead, no biggie, it still does what I need. I can get another refil whenever. As a comparison I included a pic of what this book is replacing. Roughly the same size, of course its way thicker but I carry a LARGE purse so it won't be an issue.

Gorgeous !Sunflower has always been my favorite and that was the only reason I bought this. I thought it should be plastic feel like all the faux leather ones I've had.. but it turned out to be " my precious". Picture does nothing for the actual quality.

Well made functionally and aesthetically. Paper texture is a fine tooth so great for ink pens and harder pencils. Softer pencils and charcoals rub off and smear easily, so if you're looking for a sketchbook, other items would serve better. Not a critique (it's sold as a journal) - just an FYI. The securing strap is really long and takes some getting used to, but also allows for tying and braiding in cool ways to add to the aesthetic.

Great idea for a gift and price reasonable as for sturdibility.
