Great value for AC media
I bought these to use for water filtration in a flowing fountain style dog bowl we use for our dogs. I have these positioned so that the pump is within this mesh pouch with the media to keep the water passing through for the filtration qualities. These pouches hold a lot of media, and if i were still keeping aquariums i would be screaming from the hilltops to recommend this for use in the tank filters. I have been very happy with the way the media rinses clean and the quality of the mesh pouch. One thing i will note it’s that the best way to rinse this media of a lot of the excess carbon powder residue is to remove the media from the pouch and rinse in a colander before putting it back in the pouch for use. It activates instantly on contact with water confirming this is AC as advertised.Good product

Great option for fish tank filters… nice to have the small bags that the product comes in individually so you can reuse the bag for the old product. Will purchase again.

Way better than buying from big box pet stores
The value I got was great. The activated pellets were as expected but in a nice, reusable, mesh media bag with a zipper. I got 6 lbs for the price of about 3 at big box pet stores. It came in 6 one pound media bags which were a perfect fit for both my hob filters and my canister filter. Couldn’t be happier!

you get a ton of carbonin reusable mesh bags~neither the carbon or bags are the highest qualityvery minimal odor and clairty control.Marineland carbon is better simply putdont regret buying, wont buy again

A bit dustier than some but definitely not as bad as some name brands I’ve used. The bags are nice and a very manageable easy to place size.

Worked to clean up my water easily
I just put one of these in my filter for a cichlid tank, really helped keep the water looking good. I'm wondering if I can recharge them by putting out in the sun like some charcoal air filter bags my wife uses. Regardless, these are great, make sure to rinse them well before putting into the tank!
