Usually buys curly hair products. Buying ogx for first time. Didn't help manage frizzy hair. Infact could have skipped conditioning the hair as it was not adding any value. Had to discontinue after 2-3 uses. Waste of money, material and time

My daughter has oily hair, so I found this product to help. It's surprisingly hard to find shampoo for oily hair.This works great. Her hair is still soft and manageable, but a lot less oily. I use it when my hair is feeling too built-up BBC instead of neutrogena. It doesn't strip my hair as badly, smells better and leaves my hair softer.I've already have a backup. If you have oily or build up from too much product, this shampoo gently strips the hair. It has a great smell, and the conditioner does a good job providing a nice, light soft feel to hair.

Straight, thin hair, that gets oily after a day or two of not washing.its important to find your hair type and how fast you get too oily so you can get a shampoo for hair type and hair/scalp oil tendencies. please do research on this as shampoos are not a catch all.I had dry scalp real bad using other products and kind of landed on head and shoulders as my last resort till i started growing out my hair a bit more and thought about taking care of it more. instantly my scalp gained a lot more colour and doesn't itch as much and flake as much as before. I bought a few more products and im going to be testing those as well, but this is my new go to if it turns out that this is better.It has kind of a funny smell similar to weed but not exactly its hard to describe, but it is a bit unpleasant at first (you'll get used to it). it doesn't lather as well as other shampoos, but that is to be expected as it doesn't contain SLS (a surfactant, basically makes it easy to foam up and spread) but honestly isnt that bad, you just have to spend a little more time working it trough your hair.overall id say i am very satisfied with my purchase and will probably buy it again.

I've been using this product for quite a while and love it. I use the shampoo version of this along with the conditioner. I use once a week - shampoo removes all hair product used through the week and the conditioner after shampoo leaves my hair soft and shiny.

One thing I've always appreciated about OGX is that their products work for every hair type. I have mostly 4b/4c hair, and it worked great. My scalp felt clean, I could feel it breathe. The shampoo didn't dry my hair out, which is usually what happens with clarifying shampoo. My hair did get tangled, but that's where the conditioner comes in. The conditioner didn't quite moisturize my hair (which was okay because the shampoo didn't really dry it out to begin with), but it's gave my hair LOTS of slip! As soon as I apply the conditioner, the tangles were gone and I could easily run my fingers through my hair. So if you're looking for a decent clarifying shampoo and conditioner that's cheap, invest in this. I recommend moisturizing your hair after this, maybe even doing a deep condition if you have time.
