Q: Does it come in carefully cushioned packaging?

Mine did and a little tassel on the handle. Also it has been in the dishwasher (minus the tassel)

Q: What size is the tea pot

I can get 5-6 cups depending on the size of the cup.

Q: I love this teapot, but i broke the lid! Are there any replacement lids available?

I don't know. Have you asked Amazon ? If it's an import they have the influence we don't have to lean on the company. I bought it for my grandson's wife who is from China and as far as I know hers is still ok. A few years ago I bought a hose on Amazon , made in China( it blew up giving me a bath). When the Chinese co had the attitude of gee bad luck, I complained to Amazon and got an immediate refund . I didn't want a replacement. I'm sure they can get a replacement for you.
