Product is Great and Easy! Training Cats is Not!
I waited to write this review until I had used it a few months and had the cats trained so I could write an honest in-depth review. First off, I spent hours looking for the right collars before I bought these and Iâm glad I settled on this specific product. The product itself is super high quality and works exactly as advertised. The collars fit our cats great and worked perfectly to keep them in our yard and away from the busy street. Here is the breakdown:Install:-All high quality parts and instructions were clear but digging 300ft absolutely is awful. Expect to spend a whole weekend doing this.TIP- Rent a large edger from Homedepot to cut the trench. The handheld ones just donât make a wide or deep enough cut, and recruit a friend to help.Trianing:-Cats are not dogs. Your would think this is obvious but their ability to climb vertically and their fierce stubbornness makes training hard. It took me a month doing an hour or two a day until they got it. They got shocked a lot but it was worth it in the end. You have to be outside with them while they are learning. The cats will hit the line, get shocked, front Nina flip over the electric fence and you have to watch this happen, go grab them, move them back on the correct side and repeat over and over for a month doing an hour or so a day until it clicks.Tips: teach them in a fenced in part of the yard if possible. This takes their ability to jump and climb out of the learning curve and gives them a strong visual indicator of where their limit line is. I had them only in the fenced in back yard for a few weeks until I tried the front yard where only the little flags marked the line. The flags really donât mean anything to the cats if the sound and shock is not already associated in their minds. A big visual like the fence helped learning a lot. Next tip, the collars loosen a lot once the cats where them for a few hours. You need to keep tightening them each day until they are broken in or no correction is being received. My last training tip is, turn them to the max shock setting. I found the cats simply didnât care enough to stay in the yard unless they got the full charge. Little shocks they ignored and my hesitation to go full shock delayed training for at least a week.

Consiglio

Great customer service
The transmitter did not work for me. I contacted customer service, and they ran me through all of the diagnosis tests. Even tho they said it was super rare, they sent me a new transmitter over night. New transmitter did the trick! This works well for my cat. He was always a stray and didn't want to be locked in the house, so this is a great option. I put it on when he goes out, take it off when he comes in, and he's cool with that.By far the worst part is twisting the cables to cancel the signal..this took me as long to twist 25 feet as it did to dig all the 500ft of wire. They should send a simple wire twister or something.

don't buy this cancer. also "correction area" is too slim.
it's kitty abuse. I put it on my neck to shock myself, min power and max power. Worse than electo-acupuncture. acutally it's like acupuncture but if you turn the electricity dial all the way to max power, which no one ever does. try it yourself and then you'll think twice about putting it on your fur baby. You'll fudging traumatize them. also the tone does nothing to deter the cat if you're hoping to just use it on tone only mode - because the tone area is like less than a foot wide, so my cat just walked across in a second, didn't even notice. He actually doesnt care about the tone. It's cancer. Don't buy cancer.
