I used these to splice together our dog’s underground fence wire when I moved the wire. Easy to use, but I’m no electrician (a nurse) so I had to lookup a YouTube video to see how to use the parts since my hobby was busy with something else at the time. All I can tell you is I watched the video, did what it said, and the fence works. We will see over time how it holds up since it is in the ground. Seems durable, safe protection for the wire from moisture, and fits that type wire.

This item worked perfectly for burying a spliced wire into the ground. This item keeps the wire completely waterproof and is easy to use.

Works great for mending in ground dog fence. However tired of fixing fence so switched to GPS "fence"

I very happy that I found these specific for underground fences versus some of the higher cost higher voltage stuff. That being said, the nature of the break you'd be repairing can make the installation quite difficult. That is because these require quite a bit of slack in the line, ~3" on each end of the break, to allow attaching the wire nut and inserting into the tube. Since the fence is buried, it can be difficult to obtain this slack. Luckily, my install was close to a turn so I was able to dig up the line and change the radius of the turn to give me the slack I needed. But I can see this being a big problem for someone repairing the middle of a long straight run, for example. So the product works fine if you can get it installed but a different design, like a butt connector, would be much more practical.

Ease of use. Beats $300 charge to have (xyz) fence company)come out and repair broken connection and is as good as original installion.

These were perfect for when I needed to fix a break in the wire for our inground fence. These are simple to use and the price was spot on too.

I bought these for installing wired landscape lights for a customer. The wire nuts that came with the lights would do horribly in wet areas so I researched what I needed to buy to keep the wires safe from getting wet (sprinklers, rain, etc)These larger pieces have a silicone area inside them so that if water were to get inside it would not disrupt the connectivity. I would suggest that when you strip the wires that you secure them tight to each other with the wire nut provided and then push them to the bottom of this wire encasement. Works like a charm! You’ll thank me later!

I would be in trouble without these. I manage to break our Invisible Fence wire just about every time I do an outside project and these guys help me fix it perfectly!!
