Q: How long is this knife and how long is the blade?

To have a knife hold a good edge , it has to have a certain amount of carbon , the more carbon the less stainless , this is a great knife , and is stainless , but not stain proof , after contact with salt on the same day wash in warm soapy water and dry , it will always look new.

Q: Will this sheath fit a weight belt?

Yes, it is made to fit around your leg.

Q: what can be done if the knife rusted and is loose after one use? I soaked it in fresh water right after diving. What can be done?

Hi Jake, As with all stainless steel it needs carbon to stay sharp and that is what will rust. That said, you can use steel wool to take off the rust and keep WD 40 on it or I usually put vaseline on the blade when I am using. As for the loose part, what is loose as the top unscrews to allow access to the blade from the handle. Hope this helps, Instructor Bill
