MoleskinePassion Journal, Wellness, Hard Cover, Large (5" x 8.25") Black, 400 Pages

I bought this journal since I'm just starting to get into cooking, and I wanted somewhere to keep track of what recipes and ideas work and which ones don't. I used the stickers that came with the journal to reorganize the pre-labeled tab sections, whose labels didn't necessarily work for me, but I'm sure they might for someone, and hey that's why they come with stickers anyway, right? Speaking of the stickers, there's a wide variety of pre-printed labels for all your needs (there's ones for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; different categories of food; labels for keeping track of restaurants, websites and shops; etc.), and also a handful of blank ones, just in case what you want isn't already there.The journal opens with pages on measurement conversions and calendars of what produce is in season when, which I know will come in handy. Each recipe page has separate sections for all sorts of little tidbits of information, including things I usually forget to write down, like how many the recipe serves and good wine pairings. After the pages devoted just to recipes, there's the sections where you add your own tabs, and each page is blank, divided into 5 sections by lines. I can think of a lot of different ways to use these pages, so I feel like everyone can find the way to use it that would be most beneficial to them. After that, there's several just plain blank pages which can obviously be used for just about anything. In the back, there's an index, where you can write in yourself what recipe is on every page, for quick reference. The back cover has a stretch pocket where all the stickers are stored, and I've already put several recipe clippings from magazines and such. The capacity of the pocket isn't great, but I think it'll be fine for my needs. And I think if it were any larger, it might be too big; as is, I can fit it in the largest pocket of my apron with a pen, and it's always where I can find it when I need it.Overall, I really enjoy this journal so far, and I definitely feel like it lives up to the standard of quality that the Moleskine brand suggests. We'll have to see how it holds up over time, because I do tend to be pretty hard on my journals, especially in the kitchen. But for now, I am a very very satisfied customer.

I love journals in general and Moleskine products in particular. I'm trying to become healthier and more active, and it's always easier to do when you can see the steps you've taken, and the improvements you've made. The Wellness Journal is a wonderful tool to help you do just that.There are some pages with content I can't imagine anyone needing: clothing size conversions from US to UK etc, the growing seasons for various foods in each hemisphere, the calories for certain foods, but then, I'm not using it as a diet journal, so this is a matter of personal preference. Fortunately, if you need the pages, but not the content, Moleskine has printable templates, and you can just print, cutout, and paste whatever content you'd rather have.If you do decide to use this for a diet/nutritional wellness journal, you should be warned that despite having over a year's worth of goals and many entry slots for exercises and sports, there are only about 30 days worth of food journal pages in that section, and you'd need to make a jump over to the blank sections in the back to continue. Thankfully, the pages are numbered, and there's an index in the back of the book that makes jumping around in your journal easy and convenient.I love the extra organizational boost of having a lot of really useful sections already included in attractive formats, and I've already customized some of the printable templates for my specific needs, making this a fantastic, stylish, personal tool that's really helping me achieve my goals.

As a culinary student and professional pastry cook, I think this book is great! I will probably make up my own sections instead of using theirs since this will primarily be for the bakeshop. I think the star rating will be great for me since the recipes here will be my own. A few folks have commented on how little space they have for writing recipes. Number one, it's a recipe, not The Great American Novel. How much space do you really need? Number two. Okay, so you really do need that much space. Well, why not cross-reference a page in a later section. All of the pages are numbered. On the bottom of the page you find so cramped, write in "continued page 123" and continue on page 123! I don't mean to be (that) snarky, but it seems obvious especially when so many of these same people claim that the later sections seem to be useless. In the later sections, I may write in different flavor options for ice cream or cookies, different garnishes or plating options, etc.I don't see the point of copying all of my recipes that are already written into this book. I do think this is great for anyone, chefs especially, who do any sort of menu development or recipe writing. I LOVE the index. That's too cool. It will make it very easy to find information later. My only complaint is the cocktail section. I could do without it. C'est la vie. I'll most likely use it as another recipe section. I bought three of these books and do not regret it. I only wish I had found these before I started culinary school!

Mi papá está tomando un curso básico para someliers y estaba muy triste por no poder registrar correctamente su experiencia y este cuaderno le encantó. Tiene stickers y muchas páginas para hacer mejor tu experiencia. Sí recomiendo si es que harás una actividad parecida.

Intento ad acquistare un ricettario per raccogliere tutte quelle ricette sparse qua e là per casa, ho deciso di prendere una versione più vecchia di moleskine magari dell’anno precedente per un costo più economico. Nonostante il design non sia quello attualmente in commercio, mi piace molto esteticamente ed è di buona fattura e organizzato bene nelle pagine e nella struttura. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo lo consiglio!

Ich führe nun schon seit mehreren Jahren "Tagebuch" über meine gemachten Reisen und finde dieses Travel Journal perfekt, es ist nicht zu aufwendig und es passt genau um das wichtigste einer Reise festzuhalten. Es ist genug Platz um auch kleine Fotos einzukleben und nach einiger Zeit kann man einfach wunderbar in Erinnerungen schwelgen. Es gibt eine Aufteilung für verschiedene Typen von Reisen, Kurztrips, Wochentrips und längere Reisen. Die Aufmachung ist wirklich liebevoll und hat viele kleine Details.

Soy fan de moleskine y de agendar y registrar todo. Hay gran oferta de agendas para boda y planeadores para boda, pero me decidí por este porque hay muchas posibilidades de agregar hojas usando la página de moleskine en internet o de personalizar la agenda como uno quiera. Hay mucho espacio en blanco y posibilidad de registrar todo. Me parece que no es específica de ningún país, lo cual la puede hacer muy general en varios aspectos, pero para mi, eso es lo ideal, porque es flexible y se adapta a lo que quiera escribir y registrar. El material es de la misma calidad que cualquier libreta moleskine, viene con un sobre grande para meter tickets o notas, viene con una libreta especial para las novias, hay mucho espacio para ser creativo, hay etiquetas para distintas cosas, 3 listones separadores y mucho espacio para escribir o pegar fotos. Lo recomiendo.
