Westcott Stainless Steel Ruler, Zero Center, 36" (ZC-36)

Oh, man, I love this Zero Center Ruler. As a math-challenged person, simple division can be a challenge for me. When I am centering vinyl lettering on to wooden boards, I NEED this product! It saves me time, and guarantees accurate centering for my needs. One criticism would be that I wish it wasn't so flimsy. It tends to be all wibbly-wobbly and can scrape things. I solved that by taping a regular wooden yardstick to the back. I purchased both the 36" Zero Center AND an 18" Zero Center Ruler, and am very pleased with both buys. Price was worth every penny.

My wife really likes this ruler for the pattern drafting class that she is taking at the local community college for dressmaking. We originally purchased an 18" ruler but had to get a longer ruler. Easily returned and replaced with a larger ruler.

The metal is thin, cheap, and too flexible. If I wanted something this flexible, I would have bought a measuring tape, not a yardstick.

Flimsy. Was expecting it to be more like a wooden yard stick. Bends a lot and has cork on back side.

Pleased with the quality.

This is not a thick, stiff metal. The ruler bends. Unfortunately, this also means that over time it could be prone to losing accuracy. Overall, it's a good quality ruler. Note that I have not checked its accuracy.

The find the middle aspect of ruler is very nice. Good for woodworking.
