Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare(Online Play Required) - PlayStation 4

The media could not be loaded.  Absolutely ridiculous that you can't play this game AT ALL with out a PlayStation Plus subscription. Just another way for Sony and EA to pick away at your wallet every month!We don't play enough games in my house to justify a monthly subscription. We just want to be able to turn the thing on and play once and a while.... Is that too much to ask after spending $400 on a console $200 on accessories and $47 on this stupid game????I have always been a PlayStation fan but I will be looking to move my loyalty elsewhere after this.****EDIT:I still stand behind my first comment, but I am going change the rating for the game to 5 stars. After the irritating experience with the PS4 I bought this game on PC (no subscriptions req'd) for $18. My son and I have been playing this game for 6 months now and it is one of the best games I have ever played. There are a bunch of different game modes to keep things interesting and lots of new character variants to unlock. It's also great that this game is PG so I can play with my son. I have so many games that I don't want to play with him because they are adult themed. We can't wait for the release of PVZ GW2 next spring! We will definitely be buying for PC!

This game is a simpler kids version of Star Wars Battlefront. Neither game has a story or campaign mode that I can see. The new Star Wars Battlefront is absolutely beautiful but their is very little real diversity of look and characters. While Garden Warefare seems to have an endless line of different plants and zombie characters and customizations - and playing the game even for a little while allows you to start unlocking types of characters. Game play is fun and simple as first person shooters can get.It's a great concept and pulled off extremely well. I'm almost embarrassed to say I like the game better than Battlefront at this point.

I bought this for my 6 year old who loves Plants vs Zombies. I wasn't really sure what to expect but we love it. We are still playing it regularly from Christmas. It's like Call of Duty meets plants vs. I also like it because it's not really graphic. Yes, you're shooting plants or zombies but it's not scary. It's funny, you can unlock different character, there's "missions" you need to complete to open card packs. You can customize every character with different accessories or facial hair, hats, etc. It's a big hit.

Short version: If I could give a negative star I would but it's due to the poor UX rather than the game itself. Ordered thousands of products via Amazon and this is the first that had a bad enough experience that I am compelled to post a negative review.Long version: The registration process for this game SUCKS! If I'm buying a game and bothering to have it shipped to me, you know what should happen? It should actually work LOCALLY. I was dumb enough to buy this game (Pre-ordered because the kids were so excited about it), have it shipped, then was required to register for PSN and then also register again for another subscription with EA. Absolute worst user experience I've ever had just trying to play a game I already paid for. Whoever thought up this process should be ashamed, do some research into UX.If you want an experience like MOST games provide, download or insert CD and it just works...STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME. It's a shame, as the game itself seems great. Putting a big old nasty wall of poor user experience around a great game was a bad call on the part of EA. We really enjoyed PVZ and PVZ2! You were able to convert a family of huge fans into haters in only a single release! Now off to find the box it came in.....

I believe my experience with this game was the most frustrating I've ever had with any video game - EVER!When my sons asked for GW a while back I checked it out online just to find out that there was NO split screen option (that's what they were interested in) for the PS 3, and since the PS 3 was all we had at the time I didn't buy the game. BUT I kept this piece of information in mind knowing I would buy the PS 4 later on. Christmas 2014 came, and Santa brought the PS 4 and PvZ:GW. Great! Kids were happy!1. Installing the update took forever (stateside for the holidays)2. Network was down due to hackers for several days3. Network account details had to be set up, which took another two days because of the network problems4. THAT IS WHEN I LOST IT - THE GAME REQUIRES A PS PLUS MEMBERSHIP NO MATTER WHAT!! (I can't believe I missed this piece, or it was not out there when I first looked at the game)5. Kids decided to buy the membership using their gift cards @49.99/yr6. Not only do you have to have a PS network account and a Plus membership, you also have to sign up with EA, the developer.----HEADACHE-----I was ready to throw the game in the trash can it this point!7. Next day I set up an account with EA, and Murphy's law kicked in again. My PS4 couldn't connect to their server - unbelievable!8. Finally, about 11 DAYS after Christmas I got the game working9. However, as temporary residents of Puerto Rico where you have to deal with daily power outages and fluctuating internet speeds, playing and enjoying this game has become a real challenge. Although my kids love Garden Warfare in general, the constant connection struggles have put a real damper on the fun factor.Bottom line: If you're willing to put up with all the crazy, then go ahead and buy this game. It's fun!

Todo como debe de ser. Perfecto estado y el día prometido. Debes contar con Internet y cuenta EA para poder iniciar partidas. Es bastante divertido si deseas dominguear con lo amigos o algún momento de oseo.

Fate attenzione questo gioco è usufruibile solo facendo un abbonamento online, altrimenti non ci si può giocare!

Excelente juego para mis hijos, ellos lo juegan continuamente, muy entretenido y excelentes gráficos.
