Great memories from the 80s

Double bd edition in 4K Hdr10 in ABC multiregion, therefore without reading problem for European BDs in region B. Instead the other blu ray edition with standard resolution of the support is encoded in region A therefore not visible in Europe unless the your reader is an appropriate / updated multi-region in the recognition software for reading. The packaging is simple but well cared for in detail, an "all American" poster and I really like this illustration designed for the occasion of this event which is presumed to be unrepeatable as the copies available for the top format are a few thousand. The 4K of this American edition is equivalent to the same one restored and released in the UK earlier this year (February 2021, sold out with the presale that started in October 2020). Excellent video for both films demons 1 and 2. Rare and very rare treatment received for these films, especially for the sound tracks, in particular the Italian one which for once has a "progenitor" sound compared to the English dubbed one. In fact the sound is crystal clear, well defined without ever overwhelming. Thanks also to the musical backbone of electronic genre performed by Simonetti first and foremost but also post punk music performed by emerging groups of the time becomes real references of the 80s. Then strangely the American version is not exactly the same as the international one and there are clear and audible differences. For example the American sound track in English 4K is mono while the 4K version of Synapse is stereo…. Little details. Furthermore, in neither of the two editions does it report the very rare video of the time made behind the scenes while shooting the film of demons (make-up room). This short film lasting a few minutes is only available on the Anchor Bay DVD. Highly recommended.

I remember when I was a kid, my parents rented the first Demons movie. They allowed me to watch all of the Jason and Freddy movies with no problem. With Demons, I never made it passed the scene with the girl pulling her face off before the VCR was turned off. Years later I have had a chance to watch this great horror movie. The story is simple, even with some plot holes. I would recommend the first Demons movie to anyone horror movie lover.Okay...so Demons 2...It is an okay movie. If you want something to watch late at night, check it out but it isn't anywhere as good as the first demons movie. With this collection, it is nice that it was added.

These two films are really good. I liked the first one better. These movie were produced by Lamberto Bava and Dario Agento, two (of to me ) Italy's best when it comes to horror.It has 80's style and music too.I highly recommend this collection.
