This silicone spoonula is of the highest quality I've experienced. It's everything I want in a silicone kitchen utensil. The large size works well with even the largest mixing bowls.The handle is very stiff and will not bend even with heavy pressure. The silicone is stiffer than most, and takes more pressure to bend the edges to rest flush against the size of bowls of any size - definitely not flimsy like the cheaper stuff! The finish is lightly textured with no manufacturing seams visible. The teal color is intense and beautiful. This is a 5 star item, but I subtracted one star for the high price - complete sets of silicone utensils can be bought on Amazon for the same price. Buying individual Starpack utensils to make up a set would be unreasonably expensive (for me). But overall, This is one of the best silicone spoonulas I've found. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (if you don't mind the price) !!!

I need a spatula that can resist high cooking temperatures, stiff enough to stir thick & heavy foods and scrape bottom of pans for incorporating fonds into sauces and releasing browned foods, while not scratching either non-stick, ceramic, or stainless steel pans. This says 600F, which is higher than any of the others I have - heat, check. It is stiffer than my other silicon spatulas, and functions better for scraping the bottom of pans, check. As it is silicon, it doesn't scratch, so check.As with all silicon spatulas, it goes in the dishwasher, however, that often doesn't remove all the grease, just like all the others silicon tools - one thing I have against silicon is that it seems to hang onto grease and oil, even when run through the dishwasher. It does come clean with regular dish soap and water, so I usually hand wash for a complete clean.I love the turquoise color! It makes it easy to grab in my jar of black and silver utensils, and gives a nice pop pf color. I am currently weeding the number of utensils in my kitchen, but this one stays.

Flat tip for scraping wider area of the bottom of pot however would like it to be a bit stiffer to loosen stuck on fond, works very well to gather and clean up batters and other thickened liquids from bowls plus has a concave spoon like surface so foods do not quickly run off the spatula, also the spatula is designed in a way that all surfaces are curved with out ridges or high spots that food can 'hide' in.

It's a pretty decent product, but it's not quite as good as another brand we have. This spatula got a crack on the side after a year and a half of use. That's not immediate, but my other spatula with very similar dimensions has lasted more than 4 years without cracking. The texture of the silicone is slightly different from the other brand, which I think is where the problem lies; it's just that much less flexible and something has to give sometime, and it's the spatula, not the food in this instance.
