So far this Powerextra File Box Fireproof Document Box File Storage Organizer with Lid works well for us, but there is only one way to test the fire proof and we’re not willing to do that. We got this Powerextra File Box Fireproof Document Box File Storage Organizer with Lid in order to keep a certain set of paperwork handy and protected. We live in a hot weather state where there are occasional hurricanes and we stay ready for needing to leave. That means we keep Go-Bags that include paperwork and other important items. But we didn’t have anything for paperwork beyond extremely heavy safes. This Powerextra File Box Fireproof Document Box File Storage Organizer with Lid seemed like it might help out with some paperwork that was needed, but not in that kind of weight all the time. It goes together easy from it’s flat position. Pull up the sides, put the bottom in, flip over the lid, you’re ready. They say it can go either way - long or short - and we needed it for regular short - our files work great. Supposedly you can use hanging files - we do not have any, so have not tried it that way. I can see it working, but we do wonder what the weight of that would do to the sides - the seem like they might not hold up over a longer period, but we have. no way to prove that. We do find that as we need it it works fine. We cannot test the fire proof thing without putting fire to it and we’re not doing that. It has that sort of duct tape feel to it, but overall it’s just well done. NO idea if the material is going to protect in case of fire, but have no plans to find out. It’s easy to carry with end straps. And there are mesh pockets on either end for things to get tossed in. Overall this Powerextra File Box Fireproof Document Box File Storage Organizer with Lid works fine and we’re glad to have it part of our Go team while keeping our important files easy to get to and close. Happy with it.

Very lose product does not secure the folders.

Nice file box but it is a lot bigger than I expected and it is not easy to pick up without using both hands because your folders move around or fall. It definitely doesn’t close after you put file folders in it.

We bought this for file storage we are in living in our RV while our home is built and need space saving ideas for important files that are easy to move and pack away.

I love how compact, durable and lightweight it is. I just wish the front flap would close completely after you install the hanging files
