Absolutely Delightful Guitar!
This all-mahogany Washburn guitar is a beautiful instrument! I've been playing it for most of a week now and am extremely pleased with my purchase.First of all, it's very good-looking. The pictures you see online do not do it justice by a long stretch. The finish on the body is high-gloss, which makes for a highly attractive look when paired with the dark wood and the curvy Grand-Auditorium body shape. The neck, fingerboard, and rosette are all very pretty.Secondly, it is SOOO easy to play! I upgraded to this guitar from an old Yamaha F325 dreadnought, which is a solid entry-level guitar (esp. for the cheap price), but it has no comparison to this! The action on this Washburn is low and easy, with light-gauge strings, making it a perfect option for both beginning players and those with more delicate fingers. I am delighted with how much easier it is to lay a barre chord down on this fretboard than on my old one. The GA body is considerably lighter than a dread as well, while still roughly the same size. It's nice and comfortable: makes my Yamaha feel like a tank (not always a bad thing!) The satin finish on the neck is also nice -- it's easier to slide across than a gloss neck. Finally, the sound is excellent. Smooth and clear, full and balanced: not as deep in the bass as a dreadnought, but still plenty of volume, which is good if you're a singer-songwriter like me. The mahogany coupled with the bronze phosphor strings makes for a VERY WARM tone. It is noticeably more smooth and mellow than an average guitar (due to the mahogany and shape), but still very bright when the strings are brand new. It takes a few days of playing for the edge to come off: then it sounds just like it looks -- soft and rich. All in all, an excellent guitar for the money. Beautiful, comfortable, versatile, nice sound -- I would recommend this guitar to just about anybody. It's a pleasure to play!

OUTSTANDING GUITAR!!!
OUTSTANDING GUITAR!!! Went shopping for a guitar ready to spend big money. After playing many guitars including Martin and Taylor, this guitar had the best sound and feel for me. Never been happier or played a guitar I love more. If your in the market for a great guitar that holds a tune, has great action, and for a reasonable price, this is the guitar for you.

Deep Rich Tones & Easy to Play
I started playing seriously 4 months ago after not having touched a guitar in over a decade.I had an old Fender F210 acoustic which is a mediocre guitar at best.I drove around to music stores & played everything from the cheapest Epiphone to the most expensive Martin trying to decide on a guitar to suit me.This Washburn has a deep tone that I really like & it projects very well (much nicer sound than my Fender.)The fretboard has very smooth action & I sound a ton better! When I reach my one year anniversary I'll probably pick up a Martin but for the price (and my skill level) this is an awesome solid wood guitar.BTW I bought this at a local music store...
