finely ground, ok taste
This is a review of AYURVEDASHREE Tulsi Powder Holy Basil Powder 100 Gm | Ocimum Sanctum | Vegan | Non GMO | Gluten Free I usually use fresh basil but thought that the basil powder would be good to add to tea and other infusions. By itself, this finely ground powder has just an ok taste. It doesn’t overwhelm with basil flavor but I can tell that it is basil. By itself, this powder is a bit bitter, but many infusions are that way. When mixed with tea or other spices, the bitterness is insignificant. As I continue to use this, if I find that the basil powder has improved my health (holy basil is supposed to be good for a variety of ailments), I would buy it again. But I would not purchase for taste alone.
