The powder smelled stagnant and didn’t dissolve well. It tasted odd. Not what I expected from an "organic" product. But I guess the amla powders taste like that

The benefits of Amla are cumulative. Since I have only been taking this a month I'll have to write a review again later this year, however, it is easy to take and blend in a smoothie.

So far so good. I just got my bag two days ago and I made my self a drink by blending 1 tsp of powder with aloe Vera chunks cut up and some pineapple chunks and some honey for sweetening. I blend it all up and pour it over ice and drink it with a straw sips. Really good. I like the tart taste. I will say I've been struggling with getting over an infection and some kind of bug...but as I was drinking this while laying in bed at night like 15 minutes in...I felt like I could actually feel my blood circulating. It's like I could literally feel it starting to detox me in some way. And my infection zapped quickly. I just feel like as I was drinking it...my body was quickly utilizing it!

This seemed to be the best value for my money when I was shopping for amla powder. I love this stuff! So many uses. I used it to tone some of the brassiness out of my red henna dye AND I made a simple face mask using warm distilled water. The color came out beautifully and the face mask leaves my skin bright, feeling soft and moisturized but not greasy for a fraction of the cost of a lot of more complicated, expensive skin care products. This bag will last me quite awhile.
