This is a beautiful pen in person. It’s hard to tell online, sometimes they look nice but in person they are cheap and ugly. This one is prettier in person. The nibs are nice, hold a lot of ink, and it feels nice in my hand. I wish the cap fit neatly on the end while writing but you can’t win em all. It’s still very nice.

This is a great value pen set and coming with a Moonman/Majohn set of nibs means they are quality and smooth to write with. I tried all of these nibs and they are superb and will fit other Moonman/Majohn pens you may already own with a screw-in nib option. The downside is the nib size which is fairly small and holds less ink than other glass tip dip pens I have, but I knew this going in as I already have another pen by Moonman which has the same smaller nib in it. The good thing about these nibs is that you can obtain replacements in sets of 3 and they are affordable. The glass bottle shown in the product photo wasn't included but the nibs came in a square plastic case instead of a bag. The pen case is more beautiful in person than in the product photo, I was stunned by it. There is a reason I buy so many Moonman/Majohn pens, they are a truly quality company with affordable pens and great taste in style and form. This seller is in China so it takes longer to receive but they use the best and fastest possible shipper (4PX) and their tracking is great. So what are you waiting for? Gift yourself one of these, you will probably love it as much as I do and consider the wait worthwhile - got mine in California within only 10-12 days.

The base or shaft of the pen is made out of plastic which I was really disappointed about. I had thought Glass pens were made out of glass. The nibs/tips were not carefully packaged so they were just free floating in the package. I also wish the nibs were labeled or put in a box separated by which nibs/tips were which. That being said I love how it writes. I will know more with more time as I just got them today. I will update this post at a later date.

Lovely pen. Feels good to hold. The metal nibs are just ok. The glass nib is great.

This set is a pleasant surprise! All the nibs write great! It’s comfortable to write with and easy to change out the nibs. I also like that it comes with a screw on cap to protect the glass nib. Some reviews said the metal calligraphy nibs weren’t that great but I haven’t had any issues with them.Unfortunately as I was writing this review I dropped the glass nib and it broke 😢 User error but now I need to see if I can find a replacement.

Works intermittently, I wonder if it’s because the nib is acrylic and not glass? At $25 I think it is overpriced. Nice packaging, though.

When I ordered this dip pen, I had been looking for a Moonman version and this looked a lot like what I wanted, so I ordered it.Imagine my surprise when I opened the package to discover a Moonman box inside! I don't know that this will always be the case, but it was great for me! For some, it might be disappointing because the pictured jar was not part of my delivery. For me, it was not a deal breaker!I am very happy with my purchase! Just be aware, some variations might be possible.

Imagine my delight to open this and find Moonman packaging! Glass nib is delightful and steel calligraphy nibs screw in and out easily.I am purchasing a second one just in case something happens to this one.

Pleasantly surprised to find a Moonman box in my Amazon package, with the nibs in a separate container. Slightly different packaging than what was pictured, but I'm not disappointed. There are no markings on the pen or nibs so they could be a knock off. The nibs glide very smoothly on paper and they hold a fair amount of ink, except the glass tip which holds less that traditional glass pens. Overall it's a good value and the pen is beautiful.

I was very happy to open the package and find the Moonman box, rather than a Majohn-branded box (which is fine, but nowhere near as awesome a name as Moonman). The acrylic nib holder is lovely, and the inclusion of a matching cap is great for portability.IMPORTANT TO NOTE: to my surprise, the "glass" nib is not glass, as described... it's acrylic, which is disappointing. It doesn't write as well as a glass nib: the feel of it is not as smooth and satisfying as glass would be and it makes the pen feel unbalanced without enough weight at the front of the pen. The flow of ink with this acrylic nib is inconsistent for the first few moments of writing, with a tendency to create blobs and drips if not blotted with great care.The nibs unscrew easily, making them very easy to swap out. The steel nibs are sturdy and well-made, so there's little risk of breaking or misaligning them while changing them. They are very stiff and write incredibly smoothly – the writing experience is superb for steel nibs. The feeds hold a surprising amount of ink. Each one of the steel nibs is wider than I'd expected, which is a plus for me – the extra fine writes like a medium, the fine is like a broad, the broad is like a narrow stub, etc. They are perfect for use with shimmer and glitter inks.Even though I'm disappointed about the non-glass nib, I'm happy overall with the pen as it is lovely, it feels well-balanced in my hand, and the writing experience with the steel nibs is excellent.

I have had this in my cart for a very long time. I finally decided to order today. From the description, this is supposed to be a glass pen with a glass nib. Both the pen and the nib are plastic. I knew that the ,"glass" nib was only able to be used as a dip pen. As far as I understood, the regular nibs could be used with a cartridge or converter. A converter was supposed to be included. I don't know if I got the wrong pen, but I didn't receive the converter. I have extras but the pen doesn't open so that a cartridge or converter can be used. I'm going to return it.
