Q: Can I refill this product with the plastic wrap rolls from my supermarket without having to buy refills online?

You most certainly can. I will, however, put in a good word for the quality of the plastic wrap from ChicWrap. I used to think plastic wrap is plastic wrap, but, since getting theirs and seeing how well it wraps, I'll always order their refills. But again, there's no problem with using the regular supermarket rolls. They work fine.

Q: Does the box body made of paper or plastic?

It is plastic coated thick cardboard. It is quite sturdy and easily wipes clean if needed.

Q: can this be mounted under a cabinet?

It is a free standing box. I think you could open it up and screw it on. The box is very sturdy.

Q: Do store-bought plastic wraps fit into the box?

only the small roll fits.I bought a roll with 300 feet, it can't go in. I have to use about 1/3 before I can get it in. I just bought a roll with 200 feet, haven't tried, hope it will fit. But if you buy a roll with 100 feet, it should fit.This product is over priced. After I bought it, I found that Costco sold similar box with 1/3 of the price.
