Q: Could these be used as a cheese baker?

I don’t see why not. I really like these for multiple dishes, (in fact these are my favorite go to cast iron dishes for baking… and I have A LOT), but for cheese, I would highly recommend that you season these on your own at least a few times on your own before attempting that (or grease them very well first).

Q: What is the diameter?

Probably 5 inches.....they are for individual servings which is not what we expected so we Sent them back....the sale photo and write up was not specific enough and that needs to be corrected

2 sets consisting of 2 pans and 2 wooden bases.
