I just discovered PVC backgrounds and let me tell you, they are a total game changer! Unlike paper backgrounds, PVC doesn't wrinkle or get dirty. If you're worried about pesky spotlight reflections, the PVC is semi-matte, almost as good as paper. I only wish I had known about PVC backgrounds sooner! 🌟

Its an okay backdrop - if you don’t mind the “wave” effect and it takes some effort to unroll - I put it in a hot tub to initially unravel - then layed it out with a board on top to get it flat for a couple days, even so it will still try to roll back up - But that’s just the nature of this material.

While I still haven't looked at all of them, I have gone through half and they all look very good. There were a few slight creases on the edge but this is really nothing as the very edge of the drop is not practically used in photos. Mine are all matt finish on both sides which is just fine for me. I only plan to ever use matt and if I by some chance absolutely need glossy then I'll deal with it at that time. For now, if I compromise one side of one of these, I have my backup. The colors are great and the value is excellent. If I were to buy these individually, I could by drops half the size of these and still pay more than the cost of this bundle. Of course I don't get to pick my particular colors going with these but they are plenty good enough for my amateur hobbyist, YouTube and Ebay type needs. These came all rolled together in one big roll and they were triple wrapped. The one big roll is so much better than when these are rolled individually because they don't get all tight and difficult to displace from the tightly rolled position. These were a total breeze to unroll compared to every individually wrapped drop I've bought. They weren't at all so fixed in the curved position. To unwrap them I just started with one by catching an outside edge then slowly lifted it until I can grab the inside edge of it and then slid the whole thing up. Then holding it up from one end, the other end just about dropped to the floor without any wrestling. Then repeat for the rest of them.These come rolled as one laid out on top of the other until they are all stacked up and then all rolled together, mixed in like. After unrolling them I simply would roll one rather loosely then roll another and put inside that one. This way they are all kept in a big roll and I can easily pull individual colors. I did notice some very small scratches on a couple but they are not so visible and really have to be caught at just the right angle of light up close to even notice. I don't think it very possible for these to translate into photographic images but I did find that and if anyone is doing extremely detailed, up close work then it could be a problem. For me it is completely dismissible. These are great for the money and I'm glad I got them but it would be super awesome if I could have just picked the colors I wanted and got them at the fractioned price. Actually I can see using all these colors at some time or other so it's not too much of a concern as if I got like only 4 I wanted and 6 I would never use. If you're buying this pack it's because you like the use of color.

To hard to unfold and use

The backdrops arrive much sooner than I thought they would, since they ship from China. They were very well packed, with pieces of wood on either side, to prevent them from getting bent during shipping. This product has enough of a static charge on it to grab hair, dust, and debris from the center of the earth. That said I have enough Staticide concentrate to last me to the end of the century, with it's 85:1 dilution ratio. If you don't have an antistatic spray, you can use anything from a mild solution of original blue Dawn dish soap to dryer (fabric softener) sheets to take care of that electrostatic field. I recommend the Dawn, because these sheets will need to be cleaned, as they had some dirt on them, either from manufacturing or shipping. I was a bit concerned that these would be too satin a finish, as these are not a true matte finish because of the properties of PVC. However, with the indirect lighting I am using, I don't think I will have a problem. These are a bit brittle, so if you need to bend them less than a 1-inch radius, I recommend using a blow-dryer to relax the material. I will see how the material holds up over time, since the idea is to have a long term, lint-free, cleanable backdrop.
