This tape dispenser is nice and sturdy feeling. The roll of tape that comes with it is trash though. Very thin and not overly sticky really. But since I didn't even expect a roll of tape and I have good rolls already no huge loss.

I can't seem to find anyone to show me what I am doing wrong. I must be threading it incorrectly. I cannot cut the tape without pushing the teeth forward with my other hand. But this is my issue, not the tape gun. Just needs better instructions I guess.

I have both the Amazon Basics gun made of plastic and this metal tape gun at $7 more. This tape gun not only fits the tape rolls perfectly, it has the ability to cleanly cut tape in one easy motion. The Amazon Basics tape gun did not produce any tension on the tape roll even after I put rubber band on the roller to increase tension and prevent roll from sliding off. I highly recommend this model over all the others. It is worth the money to get this and it comes with a free roll of tape as well.

I loved this packing tape dispenser. Easier to use than anything else I have bought. You asked me what I use gun for: All moving, work boxes and folders I send out. I thought it would be too big for my hand but it fits a small hand (5) too. The tape you used does not get wrinkles and I do not waste any. I should have bought this long-a-go.

First off I pack and ship about 35-50 packages daily. I've gone through dozens of cheaper tape guns and every one had issues with the tape tracking, cutting, etc. This tape gun brought an end to the BS. Quality build, works perfectly, cuts tape smooth without gouging the box. Will be buying more for employees. Thank you!

The thing I like the most about this is that I have my own dispenser, and I don't have to rely on the company provided ones. The part that is innovative is that the cutter comes out when the plastic smoother is pushed in. No twisting is needed to cut the tape. I really like this dispenser.
