No more Renting and Returning - High Quality Purchase!
A must have for anyone needing the 20lb's of CO2 that this tank holds. No more renting and exchanging for CO2 every time your tank runs empty - just bring it to your local service center (airgas, general air, etc...) and have it refilled on the spot without having to worry about any attachment issues when you get home. I currently keep my CO2 tank in a constant 33 degree temperature environment (home brewing purposes) with a dual regulator attached. 2 lines run to 2 seperate manifolds providing carbonation to 9 different soda kegs (Corny) and with the regulator is easily adjustable.Although due to the cold temperature the regulator constantly reads "refill" a simple life of your tank (I believe the tare weight is around 26lbs?) will let you intuitively know when you'll be due for a refill. I brewed over 100 different home batches and have only needed to refill this tank once over a period of two years. As long as you keep your attachments tight (no leaks anywhere) and carbonate properly, you should have no issues with this tank. Although I can't speak for other uses, having only used ~30lbs of CO2 to carbonate over 1500 gallons of beer (while sitting in 33 degree F temperatures mind you) should be a testament in itself to the quality of the tank. It's also ooooh so shiny with super easy to grasp handles considering the weight reaching upwards of 45+lbs when full.

Great Tanks - No Problems
Great quality new tanks with recent date stamps. Best price I have been able to find, even with $25 for shipping each tank. Sure, you could buy some un-verified used tank and swap with a place that won't do direct refills. However, I'm using mine for food grade applications and want the piece of mind of knowing where the tank has been, and what it was used for, its whole lifetime. Nice size tank really with a good solid footprint to height ratio and about as heavy as I feel like dealing with; maybe around 50 pounds filled. I was thinking of getting one larger tank but I'm glad I got two of these instead, as they are much easier to move around and were cheaper. FYI - fire extinguisher companies seem to have less attitude about filling tanks without forcing a swap, so that is what I have been doing. Though with two 20 pound tanks now, I don't plan on visiting them for a few years.

well made!
This is a great tank. feels sturdy, hasn't fallen over. I use it for an upgrade to my soda stream. I can get this tank filled and my local air/gas supplier for I think about the cost of two of the soda stream canisters. if you have a soda steam or other brand do this if you have the space. it will save you a ton of money.

Works as expected for a fish tank (plant tank!) setup
Our son purchased this as part of his fish tank setup where he's growing real plants in it (I personally think he should call it a plant tank, since he doesn't seem to care too much about the fish at all, but I digress...) He went up to closest city and got it filled up with no issue, so he's a happy camper.

Beautiful!
Beautiful!I love this tank! I have owned it for 2 years now.First of all, it's actually a beautiful tank. It just looks really nice, this is not a tank you are going to trade in. Second, don't let that black plastic top fool you, it is thick and strong and sturdy. As soon as you pick this thing up you will realize that it is perfectly sturdy despite being plastic.I use this primarily to make sparkling water. Though it was originally to make soda (same thing really haha). Honestly it was a great great buy. I'm happy I own it.

check the certification date of your CO2 tank.
I was sold a CO2 tank that was certified two and a half years ago, dated 9/22. We’re now in 2025. Which means I would have to get the tank recertified on 9-27. If going to sell used CO2 tanks, don’t have them marked as new, when they’re used. Always check the certification date of your CO2 tank.

Good tank, nice handle
I use this with an adapter to supply a SodaStream. Filling the tank with CO2 is cheap (~$30) and it will provide about two years of daily use before it needs to be refilled!

Perfect addition for low-cost refills of SodaStream carbonator tanks
SodaStream stopped making the 130L carbonators and refills available. I had 2 of them already and wanted a way to recharge them myself. Getting a tank was an essential part. Turns out the place where gas is purchased checks the tanks carefully to ensure they meet USA standards, and many of the tanks purchased online are Chinese knock-offs. This tank passed inspection with flying colors. I got it with the carry handle which also allows it to stand upside down, required for refilling tanks without a compressor. (Other alternative is to get it with a dip tube, but those often can't be exchanged for filled tanks.) This tank can refill the large carbonator 10 times, which more than pays for itself and the refill valves and hoses with just one tank of gas.
