I bought this for my home office. The size is great, as I need space to layout notes and timelines on it. I saw a lot of comments about it being flimsy and thin - it's a cork board that goes on a wall, what do people expect? Yes, the point of the pins comes out the back of it but this is hardly a real issue as (a) you don't need to shank pins through the cork in order to pin small pieces of paper onto it, and (b) if it's going to be wall mounted, you're not going to see the wall behind it anyway.A great product and perfect for what I need.

You will have to drill holes in your wall.I tried almost every method there was to keep this up without screws but it just plain and simple does not work. I tried command hooks, sticky tape, leaning it against something, but it just isn't stable.That being said it's made of good solid material. There is a smell that will sometimes catch you off when you've been out of the room for a while, this hasn't seemed to disappear yet (but hoping it does - 1 month in).The frame doesn't sit on the wall completely hence the board comes with 4 corner screws and 4 screws to be used nearer to the middle of the board. Otherwise when you try pushing something onto the board (just to stick on) it will rock a little.One thing I find disappointing is the thickness, i realised after poking it with holes the cork itself isn't that thick. My pins would reach and poke into the cardboard backing, but it's up against the wall and won't be seen so it doesn't bother me too much.The packaging came in okay condition, there were a few tears in the cardboard but nothing seemed wrong with the actual material itself. Delivery was done in a jiffy but It is pretty big and on a windy day can be a pain, so I wouldn't recommend trying to carry it on your own.

This is a well made cork board with a nice aluminium trim The board is secured to the wall at the four corners where there is a plastic mount with a hole pre drilled in it. Sadly the screws and plugs I wanted to use (it comes with some for brick but, I was going into plasterboard) were slightly too wide for the opening. I think No 6 screws are supplied or 3.5mm but I was wanting to use No 8 screws or 4mm so I ended up drilling the plastic carefully to enlarge the hole to take the thicker and longer screw which came with the fischer plugs I was using. Daughter is very happy with the size 900 x 600mm which takes lots of photos and other memories can be pinned to it.

This huge corkboard is a huge success in my teen's bedroom, absolutely covered with photos. It has been fixed to the wall in 'portrait' format and reaches from the top of a low chest of drawers right up to the ceiling. It has an unobtrusive metal border surrounding the cork board itself which appears sturdy and is currently full of pins and drawing pins(along with the photos of course). These have already been pulled out and re-positioned many times (for the best layout) and the cork shows no sign of wear and tear. It was easy to fix to the wall and the board is quite light in itself. I think this was a good buy and it looks like it is going to last a very long time. Very pleased with purchase - it made a very good birthday present - especially for teens!

After a lot of research this was the cheapest 1800 x 1200mm cork board I could find. I was very pleased with the very quick delivery. The board seems to be be of a good quality and comes with 2 types of fixing, screwing the frame directly to the wall, the screw holes can then be hidden behind the supplied plugs, or secured by four small brackets, all brackets screws plugs and rawlpugs are included.The packing is excellent consisting of a single large sheet of triwall cardboard which is folded round the board, there is also a single sheet of interleaving cardboard Sadly this packing creates a huge problem as it just too good to throw out, I'm sure that there must be a good use for it but how many times will I have to take it out of the garage so I can get access to the car before I can bring myself to finally throw the triwall out?The board was a present for my wife so she could display her paintings on it, it was easy to fix to the wall and she is delighted with the result, no more walls covered in blue tack.A very good purchase.
